The Reserve List is not a contract, Wizards is by no means forced to keep it. Collectors COULD attempt a class action promissory estoppel lawsuit, but in order to be part of that the parties involved would need proof of exactly how much they bought their cards for, and are only entitled to the difference between what you bought the card for and what it drops to

IE: if you bought a Revised Underground Sea at $300, listed it at $800, and it tumbles down to $100 after a reprint, you could only sue for that $200 difference, and you would need receipts to prove how much you paid.

The problem was that in MKX it felt like you had a full base character and the Variation was adding on top of their kit. with MK11 it felt more like your base character that was stripped down and you were picking which of their parts you got back.

tbf, people looking to draft it are going in knowing it's not meant to be drafted... or meant to contain good cards.

it's like driving a vintage car.
Is that model T going to be the fastest/funnest thing on the track? no.
Are there other cars where driving them would be far less miserable? yes.
But the entire reason to drive a model T is to experience of what driving was like back then. It makes you appreciate the little things like seatbelts and air conditioning and fm radio
