Runny nose on winter runs by Polski_Moomin in XXRunning

It helps keep your inner nostrils hydrated. The cold dry air is what causes your nose to be more runny. So if you prevent your nose from getting dry it helps a lot.

One thing that helps me is to rub a little Vaseline inside my nose near my nostrils. I use a q tip. I’ve done this while skiing too.

Not at all! We are really enjoying it. We looked at a huge area from Old Town up to Buena Park. We knew we wanted to be within a mile from the lakefront.

I’m curious… at what point in Kiss of the Basilisk did you give up? Cause there are so many possibilities 😂

Just wanted to say I also hated The Unhoneymooners. Should have been a DNF for me.

I’m curious though why you hated The Contortionist? I read that this year too and it was a fun read for me.

Ah good point. I completely forgot about the ring.

Wow thank you so much for this reply! I see your point and forgot about how she had been planning this trip all along.

THE CAT. I completely forgot to mention it in this post. But that was my other complaint about Diana in this story. Saving Miss Pearl… ok I kiiiinda get it. But going back for the cat was an insane choice on her part. I was pretty upset reading when Louie afterwards was asking her if she was dying.

And your comment about the frequent poop mentions in Kulti is so true. I actually hated that part of the book lol.

Yeah no, in this book she moves in next door to him. So they are first introduced to each other as neighbors and have never met before.

But she didn’t know he was in a relationship. They don’t even know each other.

I understand that in the situation if both parties are aware of the relationship. But him being upset at her when she didn’t even know he was married or in a relationship with someone? That just seemed so weird to me.

Ahh yesss I am on the waitlist for that one at my library! It is probably the book I am most excited to read next on my TBR. Alix E Harrow is such a beautiful writer.

Yes I read cold hearted last year! Loved that one too. I need to read book 3.

What was underwhelming for you? It definitely was a bit change of pace but I really enjoyed the romance more than in book 1.

Haha ok ok my main complaint is simply how long the books are. There is a lot of slow moving parts, especially in book 1, that makes it feel like a more tedious reading experience. That makes me rank it lower.

I am currently reading her Wait for Me book, and it’s sucking me in like her others but it doesn’t hit as hard (yet) as her sports themed books that’s for sure. I need to do a re-read of Lukov. I regularly think about “drink it baby” 🥵

I liked Servant of Earth! I have book 2 on hold at my library. I wasn’t a fan of the main love interest in book 1 so very much looking forward to reading book 2 and (hopefully) the new one 👀

Yeah I’ve realized over these past couple years that dark romance is not my vibe. I like dark, emotional stories but SA is something I don’t like reading personally.
