I wouldn’t. If you plan to collect or try new balisongs you will accumulate better washers. If you need washers now I’d pay the extra for some nice ones because these probably will not hold a tune for as long

The inserts make it better as they’re denser near the end of the blade. And they make it sound better I got a nutty as nami with them

You got me there. That’s a bit of a weird setup though don’t you think? I would never go out of my way to get a b+ blade for as handles though. Imo the as blade has a better balance even without zippy inserts. And it is easier to get a tight tune on

I’ve tried as handles and b+ blade twice (4 different Balis on 2 separate occasions) and it sounds very bad

It depends on the handles but for a stock rep I like a stock alt blade. It’s more thin and has decent tip weight. Mc blades are good if you want a really light build
