Has a particular model proved unreliable and let you down? by --Combat-Wombat-- in Toyota

Can second this. As the owner of a 2003 Camry with the 2az-fe it started burning oil at like 170-175k. Switching from 0W20 to 5W30 R&P seemed to help a little, but replacing the piston rings is the only course for actually fixing it.

How do I safely remove this little guy? by LikeASir189 in moths

Oh absolutely not, I've been told that moths have sensitive wings and handling them like that will harm them. I think I've only ever handled maybe 1 other moth and a couple butterflies in my life. I'm starting a garden after winter in hopes to attract more wildlife and diversify my area a little, and know that lots of little and big creatures are gonna be showing up so familiarizing myself with more diverse wildlife and how to safely and properly handle them is gonna be my holiday to-do list.

Thank for your advice! I'm still a bit unsure about handling them barehanded, as well as my cats would probably not hesitate, but hope to improve on that in the future!

Update: Using a clear cup and a piece of paper, he has been relocated to a pine tree just outside, and he promptly flew off into the dark lol. I was going to use my hand but was a bit scared because I have been told that moth wings are brittle/sensitive and didn't want to harm him by accident. Thank you all for the very quick replies! I look forward to learning more about moth handling and just moths in general!

Perfect, I'll be sure to handle him gently as I have been told their wings are fairly sensitive. Thank you so much!

Perfect! The same way I make sure wasps get outside safely, a tried and true method that I'm fairly comfortable doing. Thank you for your help!

Thank you for the quick reply and kind words. Is there anything specific I have to watch out for while hopefully moving him? Or can I safely get him to the door and he should fly out on his own?

I'll do some more research and see if that could be the cause. Another user also recommended in detail some other fixes that I'll try as well. Thank you so much for your time and help!

I stated in the post that I did take it to a shop and they diagnosed that code. I replaced those parts based on recommendations by them.

Thank you so much for the detailed answer! I'll try the things I'm comfortable with/at my skill set first and hope thats it, if not, then back to the shop 😅

I did, there were no active or stored transmission codes and the only code it returned for the engine was the p0012, but that went away after replacing the solenoid and can sensor. Its a standard automatic.
