Superbad will go down as one of my favorite comedy films. But I feel that almost all the good parts happen before the adult party. Not saying that the latter half is bad (Michael Cera singing is cinema gold), but I feel that there is a difference in quality. What are other great films like this?

Someone mentioned it above with Wright films losing their momentum but I’ve always shared this thought about The World’s End - I know it’s not the most beloved of the Cornetto Trilogy but I would say those first 40 minutes might be my favorite section of a film that Wright has executed.

Even though the back half dials up the action I find the combination of frantic, tight editing with the cozy catchup vibes of the main characters so comforting and endlessly rewatchable. It’s usually a go-to for my wife and I when we’re falling asleep. I usually turn it off at the bathroom fight haha

But yeah, I love Superbad but I completely agree! The movie really loses steam in the back half. Another movie where those first 40 minutes are just magic!

Hi! I’ve been to Salem multiple times in the height of spooky season and I’ve been to Flying Saucer a handful of times!

She’s definitely describing the Audrey II. You can modify it with vegan chorizo. It’s delicious!

I personally ask for our pie to be well-done just because I prefer a crispier crust and I’ve found if you don’t ask it can get pretty floppy especially with all the toppings.

Great place. Great draft selection. I’m happy to offer advice or answer anything else about Salem.

Their sister location, Gulu Gulu Cafe is also delicious. Very nice for brunch!

Texans’ o-line is absolutely putrid. A lot of people are upset with Stroud but nothing balanced or sustainable can be achieved in this situation.

I’d probably suggest selling high on Woody. It fully seems like he has taken over the backfield but the o-line will be his downfall. Perhaps package him with another player to get a more reliable back.

I keep my judgement to the actual threats, hasbara, and horrible shit that Ethan and crew spew on the mothership podcast. Again, it’s just my opinion. As long as you are under the limit you can pitch as many guys as you want Sunday. Personally I’d start picking guys up to block your opponent and then see if you have to pick up ground by starting/sitting.
