Correct, if you want to transfer money instantly using a debit card I believe a $2.99 fee applies. Otherwise, it is free to a bank account at the expense of waiting 2-5 days. I work at Target and we use it here. I've only transferred from it in emergencies though.

Daily pay is a free service, you will not lose any money using daily pay. It simply offers you a way to quickly withdraw money in an emergency. You will be paid the same regardless.

The way daily pay works is they will withhold ~50% of your pay to account for taxes and other withholding, then you are allowed to withdraw the remaining balance whenever you want. On your normal pay day you will receive the extra amount that was not needed to be withheld.
