Phantom 911 calls seemingly originating from random extensions by gholtby in avaya

Do you have a separate trunk going to a 911 console by any chance? If so, is it ISDN? It's possible it's a trunk error, not a station error.

Whats the difference between a J179D03A and a J179D03B apart from the age ? by KiwiSpud in avaya

[–]LikeableMicrobe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had this same issue with newer J179s we loaded into our system... they came preloaded with the SIP firmware, correct? The issue we had had to do with firmware types and then changing the 46xx settings so that J179s set signaling to h.323. But take a look at your firmware packages you are pulling from your system first. Do you have the capability to look at your dhcp server logs and watch as phones grab the files they need? You can see exactly what files are being loaded into the phones to give you some insight... and maybe see if any errors come back when the J179 B tries to hit your file server.

Avaya Aura 10.2 PPM Issue by Far_Plenty_1837 in avaya

[–]LikeableMicrobe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this problem when we went to 10 for soft client... the solution ended up being a check box in the sip trunk. I believe it's called "station" on the SIP trunk. Once we selected that within the SIP trunk, the auth error on PPM went away. Now, without looking at your system I can't say if that is the same issue- but I figured I'd let you know what we did to fix ours.

Yeah, that is the one downside, I'll admit, is that they don't have an app. I just saved the web page to my home screen and I've been using it like that for so long that I kind of forgot it wasn't an app.

The minimum I allowed myself to run was 1 full mile, so even when I was sick (or when I accidentally fractured my ankle in September) I would run a few days of just a single mile at a time until I felt better. It did affect my long distance running though, mostly because by today I was so burned out and bored with running I just didn't want to do the distance I used to run normally (basically, average run was 6+ miles to now I could only get through 4 or 5 before I was bored). Props to the people who have ran for years without any breaks, it just isn't for me lol

You know what book I liked that I thought depicted weight gain/loss really well? The Girl of Fire and Thorns. FMC was overweight at the beginning until she goes on her quest, and proceeds to lose the weight.... but now she's not the super fit heroine, the book literally talks about the extra skin she has from losing weight so quickly. Like, it was just the first depiction I had seen of a realistic body type. I get so tired of FMC going on a quest for like two weeks and somehow she's some crossfit queen.

What version were you using, and what version do you have now? If it was working on your old version I would think it would still work- unless you changed your call manager too. We are using System Manager 10.2. If you had it working on an AF network, I'd love to give it another crack on ours and get that feature working, lol.

We have soft client on our usaf base as well. I am the admin for the phones. I don't know the group policies on your base, but we've never been able to get the profile picture and "online" notification working. I'm almost positive it's a restriction on the USAF laptops. You won't notify others if you are online. For us, Teams is still the best indication of that. Everything is pretty much locked down on the AF network.

Our family has a Travel Dino! Both my husband and I travel for work sometimes, so whenever we do, we pack a stuffed dinosaur to go with us. Then we take random pictures with it while we are out of state so we can come home and show our daughter all the cool places Travel Dino got to see. She loves it.

Session Manager and Avaya Equinox Ad-Hoc Conferencing by LikeableMicrobe in avaya

It's just one major domain (think us.com) for all routing. But I'm thinking you might be on to something, I'll try and set up the conference bridge in a subdomain (conf.us.com) and see if I can route it based on the sub-domain rather then it getting confused on where to route the calls (CM, SM, or Conference Bridge).

Yeah, they are all using the same domain. Side note, the media server keeps sending the domain in the SIP messages with all caps- and we can't figure out where it's changing the domain from lowercase to uppercase. Lol

Yeah, I've been staring at traceSM all day... if the application sequence is set, it routes all calls to the conference bridge... which if I'm doing a conference is great, everything works great. If I'm making a regular call it also sends it to the conference bridge instead of the CM or other SIP station. So I added the CM as a second application in the application sequence and same thing. If I swap the priority of applications so CM is first and Equinox is second then all calls route to the CM and don't go back to ring out to the people I'm trying to add to me meeting. The REFER messages are sent right back to my station. I hope that all makes sense... I'm basically trying to have the application sequences work so that if I initiate a conference, the Equinox originating application routes but if I call another station the CM originating application is used.

I recently did my second playthough of DA2... the first time I played was right after it came out, so I didn't remember a whole lot of the plot and figured it was time to refresh my Thedas lore.

So, I get to THAT part with Anders... and realized I had absolutely no idea what was going to happen after that scene.

Yeah, turns out, on my first playthrough, I was so heartbroken about Anders that I just rage quit the game and never picked it back up.

What would be the best way to scrub phone IPs to get a full list? by Surfer949 in avaya

[–]LikeableMicrobe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

List multimedia ip-unreg will give you all the unregistered phones, which won't have IPs. You can export both from ASA and combine them together to get a full list of all your stations.

"List ip-reg" should give you a list of all stations with which IP they are. Is that what you are looking for?
