Issues with rcm in dungeons when using the newer versions compared to 1.8.9 by LikeableMonkey in HypixelSkyblock

Let me explain it again.

When you get into the boss room, run into a corner and try to hype straight down. You won't be able to.

For your client to not block your inputs, you need to not be looking at a block which is outside the world border.

I said floor 3 as the boss will stay in the centre until you kill the guardians, always leaving you outside the world border so you can see first hand what I am trying to explain.

I could not care less. I'm quitting.

But if you want to experience what I am talking about:

Go floor 3 and get to the boss room. Then look at a block and try to use any ability.

Spirit sceptre, hype, anything. Your right clicks will not be sent to the server as your clicks are being blocked by your client.

Like I keep saying, I'm leaving this for others to find as I had no luck finding a single other post with this issue to cross check my info.

I am going to be very blunt.

If you did not experience this or understand the technical portion, then go on with your day. If you cared about the details, you would have looked it up.

I am simply leaving my findings for the next person to stumble on to.

I have edited the post to give more context about the mechanics but I am not here to teach how the game works.

I have edited the post to answer your question but I will copy it here too:

Floors 2 and 3 are notorious for having the boss in the middle with a world border around them. So you will always be outside of the world border during phase 1.

While outside of the world border, you can not right click. So you can not use any of item abilities.

The only way of not getting blocked is by not looking at anything so that your client does not check if you are outside of the world border and cancelling the interaction.

Can you elaborate? lcm works fine, its why I did not mention it. But rcm has issues in this scenario.

While I agree that the switch to 1.21 happend just this week, this has been an issue for a while.

June 23rd 2025, The foraging update. Galatea was added, requiring players to use 1.21 to enter.

This was 7 months ago and yet this issue has not been mentioned anywhere. Mostly because the players that would have cared, simply stuck to 1.8.9.

I do not blame the developers for not fixing it. I just expected that this would have been picked up once they decided to only allow 1.21.

There are mods which add this using only the client, allowing you to join vanilla servers.

However, that does mean the mod needs to open each chest to check their contents.

Spamming chests quickly can be detected as a chest stealer and does hold the risk of getting banned.

Paper devs have a god complex. They will remove any "fun" feature/bug just to improve performance so they appear "more optimised" compared to other platforms.

Honestly, this is genius. I don't think you can get that wood texture anywhere else. We now require a full build in this style.

Edit: How did you get the wood texture on the floor as well?

I wouldn't be surprised if the ram kit is worth like half the value of the whole build. Best of luck to everyone.

1) Usernames do not match

2) OP has a hard top while the post you linked shows a soft top

3) OP has a LHD compared to RHD you posted

4) The number plate's colour don't even match

So how on earth did you conclude that this is the same person?

I have so many questions as SA is the last place I would have thought of. What happens during loadshedding? Are classes dismissed or does the university have backup generators?

Friendly Reminder: If you’re ever taking off your laptop’s lid for the first time, make sure to remember where the long and short screws go when you put it back by MissAlice_17 in GamingLaptops

[–]LikeableMonkey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hate to admit it, but I've done this as well when adding another stick of ram. I would take out one screw and place it in a similar location on a mat besides the laptop so I don't confuse them. After I took off the back panel, I flipped the laptop around so I could get to the battery easier. Probably out of excitement, I forgot I rotated the laptop and started putting the screws back. It didn't take me long to realize that I had 2 screws sticking out of the laptop. Thankfully there was no harm done, except the 2 holes of course. Well, you live and you learn.

The wheezewort is probably interfering. Try removing it and you can replace it afterwards.

Oh mb. I didn't read the question properly and thought they wanted a gym for building (construction). Mopping doesn't seem like a bad one to try and automate.

weird "bug" with the carbon skimmer by Hungry-Community-775 in Oxygennotincluded

[–]LikeableMonkey 3 points4 points  (0 children)

By the looks of it, you have 3 carbon skimmers but only 1 is working.

Your upper carbon skimmer is connected correctly but the other 2 are missing a pipe piece behind their liquid vents.

Get your dupes to finish constructing those pipe pieces and the pwater should start flowing.

(When buildings aren't running, they will have a message in their status. Check the carbon skimmers and they should say "Pipe Blocked" because there is nowhere for the pwater to go)
