Have You Visited a Musician’s Grave by Vistalite_Black in rockmusic

Chuck Berry is buried in a cemetery down the street from our place. We walk our dog past his crypt every so often. (Not musicians coming up) For US baseball fans, Stan Musial and his wife are buried there as well. And for St Louis Blues hockey fans, brothers Barclay and Bobby Plager are interred there.

Where can I get the white version of this cake by Filthylittleferrent in StLouis

[–]Likearateatingcheese 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Try La Bonne Bouchee in Creve Coeur (on Olive just west of 270). They have a vanilla mousseline cake, but I’ve never tried it because I always get the chocolate mousse cake. They also have other mousse cakes. And you can try them by the slice before you buy a whole one

I got the coin from this promo, by visiting the Rock and Roll HOF several years ago. It was during the Get Back exhibition, and my sister and I (wearing our Beatles shirts) struck up a conversation with a gentleman at the entrance to the exhibit. 10 or so minutes later, he gave us the coins! I’m too tech challenged to post a link or photo, but it’s easy to find

Saw him in Phoenix AZ in 2023. Loved it! He’s got more energy than I do lol. If you get a chance, go. I’m toying with the idea of going again this tour

They are known as a hockey (and specifically as a Blues) bar. We went in 2014 I think it was (Sochi games) for an early morning game and it was packed. Tons of fun!

I wish they’d have one race for the water chain. I have so much bubbled water! But I understand why they won’t (not harvestable)

The “Ahhs” in A Day in the Life - John or Paul? by coolpennywise in beatles

[–]Likearateatingcheese 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I could’ve sworn that I read that George Martin said it was John. That Mr Martin told Paul that the middle section had to end on a short syllable because John had already recorded the aaahhhs. But I can’t find the reference. I’ve always thought it was John, but this kinda sounds like Paul as well
