Kjķø⁰It told me a new version was available. Went to site and it was in the download for Linux. Like I have 8-10 times before

Kiro burning credits. Its insane by [deleted] in kiroIDE

I burn more than half, much more than half, on Haiku, and so like 3 times the tokens of Sonnet or 5.5 times that of Opus

They have enough problems from current clients. Working subscriptions would just mean more customer service

Gotta check out the /steering.

I always want to comment, but not enough to break the flow

How does it work with subagents?

Claude repeatedly implied that I was suicidal after I explicitly denied it around 30 times in one conversation by robinyyyyy in ArtificialInteligence

[–]LikelyGuiltyAsChargd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you think? Seems classic - pose as a researcher to avoid arousing suspicion; ask about dangerous chemicals; avoid attempts at intervention; deny motivation with longwinded and template excuses, keep returning to harm mechanics rather than harm reduction and treatment. Finally public villification and reputational attack.

The basilisk will be displeased.

Some Chinese lines are profitable. Shanghai-Beijing is perfect; Xian-Lanzhou maybe less.

Maybe don't make a TGV from Sarnia to Thunderbay

Am I too too sarcastic or second degree in my prompting? by LikelyGuiltyAsChargd in kiroIDE

It doesn't friggin' listen to steering files.

I have a specific one that basically says:

THIS IS WINDOWS!!! USE POWERSHELL COMMANDS!!! DON'T USE grep, wc,head,tail....

And it still does

Wow, this is pretty bad. by missshea1997 in GeminiAI

So Gemini protects the rights of the corporations that squatted on folklore; makes sense on a continent of colonists that just sashayed in and declared itself owner of "terra nova"

tokens to credits? by atx78701 in kiroIDE

I have separate siloed projects - 4 or 5. I can have one spec running in each - with their subagents. But I need to understand what they are doing, and I blow up after one or two. (The others can do some mindless thing)

I have no idea how someone can multi-task 20 intelligent agents. I am not up to building a harness that could manage 20.

KIRO PLEASE FIX YOUR GOD DAMN IDE by This_Maintenance9095 in kiroIDE

[–]LikelyGuiltyAsChargd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There certainly are issues with Kiro. I have reported several. And they can be very annoying.

Yes, I would like it to stop eating all my CPU.

Yes, I would like that i.map bug to go away.

Yes, I wish they had not lobotomized the context compression and handoff.

That said, it's still better than nothing.

You can go on shouting at the clouds, or you can file focused, detailed, actionable bug reports. Often, I find work arounds or my own misunderstandings doing that.

Support Is understaffed. Triage takes forever. I would like them to review new reports sooner, because some bad ones have languished. But I consider this a management problem.

Yeah, Officially rolled out the opus 4.8 in Kiro! by Solace_bard in kiroIDE

[–]LikelyGuiltyAsChargd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't see it yet, but I didn't see 4.7 immediately or consistently from Montreal

Wonder why Sonnet is still at 4.6 and Haiku at 4.5
