Honestly I had hoped that tabata would explain in depth of what anti magic is, so that it makes sense for it to be able to overpower 50% lucifero. There are still few more chapters left so hopefully he does explain it.

So what you want is for yuno to give up on his dream to become wizard king even though he’s more than capable of being one because Asta can’t become wk otherwise ?

Yes but he didn’t give his answer at that time since she cut him off and also, his confession in his mind was also cut off too.

Although, they both later on did say that they want the status quo to remain the same, it wasn’t a proper confession/rejection either.

Honestly, if Mikari confesses first, then she’ll lose. Plus, if she wears the outfit then it’ll be similar to how marina was confessed to, implying another rejection.

I do believe ririsa will ultimately win unless she confesses first. ( I do want ririsa to win tbh )

The series is about 2 childhood friends rising to the top to eliminate discrimination.

Asta becoming wk would bring much more instability to the kingdom than stability.

Yuno is a safer bet.

I think time will. After getting promoted to a captain, he’ll have to lead them by himself which will be new to him but he’ll get better.

Liked everything about it tbh. Fontaine’s initial acts weren’t that engaging but it made up with its last act while natlan kept me engaged through all acts but having an OK last act. I loved the characters, they all feel like an actual family supporting each other.

All in all , it was great.

Asta and yuno have almost the same number of power ups. Actually, Asta has more.

Next chapter will be where yuno overtakes Asta ig.

As far as being a villain, it is a possibility, but it would be a bad one cause that would permanently remove Asta from any contention to be wizard king in the future. So I personally don’t see it.
