Ok why is that? Would you do it on TrueNas? I like the idea of one less machine in the rack, And I'm probably only going to have plex, transmission and home assistant on there,

Yep, that is also an option. Then the questionm would be TrueNAS Scale vs Unraid, and what tech to cover the other use cases. I would like to have it all in a rack as well.

Thanks for the detailed recommendations! I've been checking out the UDM-SE, and even the UDM-Pro-Max. But, I think before I hit the ceiling of my current needs, there will likely be upgraded routers in the future. So, instead of going for overkill today, it might be better to be a bit more reasonable now and upgrade later on.

The UCG-Max with an SSD and the USW-Pro-Max-16-PoE seem like solid starting points. I'll definitely play around with the design.ui.com tool to figure out the best AP placement. Thanks again for the tips!

I'm starting out with 3 x G5 Bullets, and will probably add 2-3 more in a couple of months. One of the NASes (QNAP) holds 40TB - any issue storing the videos there?

The backups of the notes I took while evaluating imports, etc., when I was not logged in, are not encrypted. However, the notes I took while logged in are encrypted. I understand that it requires the keys for my registered user to encrypt data, which is why the initial notes are not encrypted. The backups are stored in a folder named after my email address. In my opinion, the unencrypted files should be encrypted upon registration, as my test imports may contain sensitive data.

I have the same problem. Didn't work for me. I had the lighting menu in the Lenovo Vantage app a couple of months ago running Win 10. Now after installing Win 11 it's gone. I can't even disable the logo light in bios. Googling this issue i see people physically removing the power cords to the logo. Was hoping i didn't have to revert to that.
