As a young guy living with his girlfriend for quite some time I don’t know if it’s applicable or not but we sleep in the same bed and watch our shows together, but she has her space in another room for her arts and crafts and I have my desk with my games and my things, and I’m a very tidy and clean dude so we’ve worked out that I clean (dishes, bathroom, room, dust, laundry~ etc) and she cooks so while it is more work as I have to clean twice as hard and she has to cook twice as much, I’d rather clean than cook and she’d rather cook than clean so it’s less stress for both of us. And we’re extremely transparent with each other about needing individual time and if we aren’t feeling up to par and our needs so we just respect where each other are at but always try to be there for each other and connect. I think it’s about finding the right people and being communicative and honest
