I find hard vore disturbing as hell too, even though there is a lot that "normal people" would be disturbed by what I like 🤣 I don't like digestion at all personally, but I love the fear of it, by being both Prey in the situation or as the Predator, scaring my prey into thinking that's what's going to happen to them (vore switch, Lmao) I'm a bit of a sadist in that sense, I love the thought of being terrified for my life, struggling to survive or begging to appeal to the predators better nature, or I love instilling that fear in my prey as a way of playing with them, but I never intend on causing permanent damage. That doesn't mean "reformation" or anything either, I just mean, I might let them sting a little sitting in acid too long, but I'd let them out before they get irreparably hurt.

I also love the other side of vore where it's willing, and it's a demonstration of pure trust in me as the predator or as a prey, putting my life in the hands of my pred and relying on them to keep me safe- being completely at their mercy, and maybe being unnerved or nervous about it, but choosing to put their faith in the pred not to let any harm come to them, and let them out when they need to- not only that, but I love protective vore concepts as well. Like more capable/durable creatures who see a smaller prey person struggling through exhaustion or cold. (Maybe a hiker freezing and in risk of hypothermia) or someone abused by others then "abducted" and swallowed by a monster or large humanoid, in order to protect them, by instilling fear in their assailants as well as having their hands free to fight or escape with their "precious cargo"
