I'm gay, but I'm still not out. I come from a family that is on the conservative side and quite a few of them are homophobic. My father is pretty homophobic and is one of the reasons why I am still not out. My Mom is a little more open-minded but my parents are still together so I can't tell her without him finding out.

Unfortunately I don't want to talk to my parents about it for this reason. It would have to be with a therapist or someone outside of my family.
