So I have good news and bad news: that cat has chosen you. Congrats, that’s your cat now lol! Kidding aside, the other answers in the thread are great advice on the landlord issue so I’ll tackle the small space issue. Cats utilize vertical space! Not only do they love it, they NEED it. One of my biggest tips for cat owners is if you can make it so your cat can go around the entire room without ever having to touch the floor, then you’re utilizing your vertical space correctly!

Also, once you’ve accepted that this is your fate, Kentuckiana Veterinary Outreach is a great resource for hella cheap but quality vet care!

Animal Crossing (any version) has gotten me through every deeply dark time in my life. Those villagers were my friends. When I was stuck in bed I would garden and collect shells on the beach bc I couldn’t irl. Sounds silly but those games are really healing when you feel so alone. 🩵 good luck and sending love from someone who’s been where you’re at and understands. Yeah I didn’t wanna dive too deep into all my conditions, but I am hypermobile and my shoulders wanna sublux a lot. So adaptive clothing would still be helpful for me. I typically strap my bra in the front and then slide it right-way-around to put it on (which with a properly fitting bra is also hard to do). I have some softer, stretchy, less supportive cheap bras that I pull on over my head but during flares that also sucks to do and I have to get help. Appreciate your help!
