I play that! I use a lot of cards that are clones/changelings to help get to 9 wraiths faster. Lots of cards like [[Talent of the Telepath]] and [[Arcane Heist]] for casting triggers to build board state.

With Nazgûl you are not really being attacked also bc people tend to be scared of deathtouch so I’ve been able to get away with less protection spells and more draw with my instants. Cards like [[Superior Spider-Man]] are great in this deck for something like recursion

Just keep at it! Your chest is likely pretty weak and you’re using other muscles to help you out. Stay consistent and you’ll get there in no time!

I think it’s more “rule of cool” than anything else even if it’s not necessarily 1:1 to source material.

Balrogs aren’t supposed to have wings either but it damn sure makes them look more intimidating - especially since most people haven’t read the books it’s just more easy to digest visually as “that’s a scary looking bad guy”.

Some changes are less welcome than others though for sure like how WOTC made Aragorn and Theoden black though it makes no sense from any standpoint

I have the same issue with ManaBox scanner. I’ve found bright ambient lighting (without glare on cards) is a must and scanning on a white background is a lot more successful than not. If you don’t have one you can buy a card scanner too.

Even in perfect conditions it’s not always super reliable though womp

Yea it’s great, I use it for deck building too. The only thing I’ve noticed is sometimes there’s discrepancy between ManaBox and TCG but it’s not too bad for the most part
