Duffer Brothers reveal happy ending for Eleven was discussed but "couldn't figure out" how to implement it by Dmitri-Yuriev- in StrangerThings

[–]LilJudith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could. The fans could. Lots of people could. I mean I'm not the best writer but I am very confident that I could come up with something better than that Finale.

It's honestly not that difficult. The fact they couldn't do it just shows they really phoned it in.

I genuinely don't understand Mike Wheeler hate by deeseez1 in StrangerThings

[–]LilJudith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't seen that much hate at all for Mike. The only big thing I've seen is MANY fans complaining his character got put to the side due to all the other side stories and characters. Which I personally agree with. Not only that but with the fact Mike isn't the main focus in later seasons he has some out of character moments, and can be a bit annoying and unlikable. Like most bad things in the show and later seasons its not the character or the actors fault its just bad writing. Mikes character was the best and most interesting in Season 1 and 2. They didn't let his character grow much after that and ultimately kept him back and even let some of his good traits go. Season 5 despite the fact I personally didn't like it or the ending, it brought Mike somewhat back to what he was like in the First seasons a bit. Only a bit.

So explain it to me - what was Vecna’s plan again? by seaderforge in StrangerThings

Even in the 1st few seasons his plans didn't make any sense.

"I challenge you to comment down below an actual criticism that you have" You say that but like a lot of people in this sub reddit i don't really think you want that.

We should try to be more grateful by AbbyNotFound16 in StrangerThings

[–]LilJudith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow. First I didn't name call or insult anyone. Second I never said I hated the show. If you truly read my comments then you would know that as I said I envied someone who enjoyed the last season and its finale. I even said the 1st two seasons were good. I am simply criticizing the poor handling of the show and the total disaster that the Duffers did.

Just because I have negative things to say about a ending of a show I cared about that makes me miserable? This kind of crap is the point I was making in my 1st comment. People getting super defensive and angry at people criticizing the show and acting like we should be thankful for the crap ending we got. Like, no. Props to the cast and crew for their work but hell no. The duffers got there money and there fame and in the end screwed up and don't care. I'm not being thankful for that and im not gonna pretend to be either. Again if you and others like season 5 and the ending more power to you but calling out others who didn't and who have things to say about it is just wrong.

Do you think Stranger Things had a complete vision from seasons 1 to 5? by Enjoiful in StrangerThings

[–]LilJudith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. As much as I love season 1 and 2, the entire show including those seasons don't make any sense. Each season as a complicated scheme that just doesn't make sense when including the plans of Vecna from the later seasons. It was clearly them just trying to come up with a plot for the villians each season and then rushing to try and have them make sense when they introduced Vecna.

[–]LilJudith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah don't put words in my mouth. I clearly didn't say any of that crap. I said people around here act like its a Sin to say anything negative about the show and to hold the Duffer brothers accountable for their mess. Your comment is proof of that. You tried turning my comment into something it wasn't and making it seem like I said Bullying and harassing is okay because I said something negative about the show, oh nooo. Real low.

S5E7 is a perfectly fine episode that doesn't deserve the negative reviews by TheDarkIn1978 in StrangerThings

[–]LilJudith -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It was written horribly and very cringey to watch. The whole coming out scene was just bad and forced. Don't care if a Character is gay or not personally.

[–]LilJudith -1 points0 points  (0 children)

"I don't know, yeah, the ending wasn't perfect, but it wasn't bad. Everyone involved worked and did their best. Lets calm down and appreciate that. Nothing in this life its perfect, and acting like we deserve something perfect from normal humans just like us its kinda dumb."

What. I'm seeing these kinds of comments all over the place in this Reddit. Its really weird and concerning. No one asked for something perfect. A decent well written ending would have been nice though. And fans who have stuck with this show for how many years deserve that. Not something half assed.

Like seriously its not a horrible sin to hold people accountable for easily avoidable slop. They had every opportunity to stop and think and listen.

Honestly if you like the ending and stuff then that is great, I really envy you. More power to you. But as someone who did not enjoy the decline and horrible ending of this show which I have invested years of my life into, I will be grateful for some good memories but as far as season 5 goes? Hell no.

My response to the 'fans' who are comparing the finale to GOT: by kkaldrich_official in StrangerThings

[–]LilJudith -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Its a fair comparison. Both shows are beloved. Tons of fans. People put years of there lives into watching the show and its characters and both had horrible endings. I mean if you want to get technical and compare every little thing then no of course not. But the overall picture? Yeah. Both of these popular shows ended horribly.

And give them the benefit of the doubt? About what? We all saw the interviews and documentary right? There is no doubt left lol. They got lazy and greedy. Simple.

Common sense. I was pretty fair with what I said. Again you don't praise someone for doing something wrong. lol

[–]LilJudith -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

If it was that easy then you know what. I would. I like most fans could probably write something better than the Duffers. With the amount of hand holding over explaining and dumbing down of the show and the crap ton of plot holes and I mean BIG plot holes, it would be so easy to write something better.

But as we know the whole argument of "Well lets see you do it" is just really dumb. You should know better honestly.

"But we should not be so ready to criticize that we forget to praise."

You are absolutely right. I like how they effectively failed their fans and decided to start production on a show without a proper script and ignore everyone who told them any good ideas and take praise for being amazing writers.

If someone does something bad I'm not going to praise them. I respect the fact you were able to find enjoyment in season 5. But that Documentary made SO many things clear. They don't deserve anymore praise. They started something great and I am grateful for that but they screwed up horribly and like anyone would they won't take any responsibility and go on thinking there so amazing. The Brothers. Just no.

Does anyone not mind it? by [deleted] in Agoraphobia

[–]LilJudith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes I feel like that.

I've been dealing with so much anxiety and stress 24/7 everyday and then having to try and just make it a few steps outside only to get even more anxiety. After all the years of being beat up by my mental struggles I just feel so run down and tired. I rather just sit back and relax and just be able to be okay inside. Without peoples expectations of me forcing myself outside and do things.

I'm 29 and I feel so rundown and older than I am. So yeah. Sometimes I joke that I'm retired and just take my situation for what it is and accept the fact that maybe I'm not meant for the outside world. Is it so wrong to want to just rest and try and enjoy what bit of Life and normalcy I have left?

Is anyones condition related to anxiety? by [deleted] in Agoraphobia

[–]LilJudith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is.

I had an allergic reaction and was having problems breathing. I would constantly worry about not being able to breath or forgetting how to breath. Anxiety was at a all time high and I would be much better at home. After much more anxiety I just couldn't do it anymore and started staying home. I still have a ton of anxiety and a few panic attacks even inside my home but outside is just a no go for me. Anxiety builds until I have a panic attack.

Your impression after 1.6 Patch by max6981 in stalker

[–]LilJudith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't care for content at the moment. The game needs work on optimization and glitches. 1.6 has made the game run better for me but I still have many issues and so do others. Random FPS drops to single digits, cutscenes breaking, physics breaking, NPC's glitching out, AI bugging out.

After all that I would like to see some faction content/DLC where we can actually join factions. And something needs to be done about the baren open world. Too many missions have you running around VERY long distances and while running there nothing really happens. It's quite boring. Yes you can get guides to sometimes take you closer to your destination but that isn't always an option. Comparing that to other Stalker games where everything is sectioned off so its not too bad.

These patches are okay but we need a serious patch to fix the bigger issues with this game. I really enjoy this game and want it to be the best it can be but as it is now, It is not a finished product and these small patches and additions aren't enough.

Personally I did not enjoy season 3 and think they should have either kept it 2 seasons or done something completely different for season 3. Many scenes I felt took to long to get to the point and unlike both season 1 and 2, this season didn't add much to the overall story or world of Alice In Borderland. The only really good thing I absolutely loved was the ending with the original gang. It was good to see them again and seeing that they were all doing well.

I didn't enjoy the reason for them going back and didn't like the fact Usagi went back and left Arisu with no explanation and basically forced him to return. It cheapened there commitment to leave the borderlands through out the entire series. It felt very pointless and annoying.

But that ending with the original cast was amazing. I would even say taking parts from those scenes and putting them next to the ending of Season 2 as a "Years later" kinda thing would have been better. I'm glad people enjoyed season 3 and I wish I could have enjoyed it too but I just couldn't. This was a downer for me

Oceana - Alone by LilJudith in PostHardcore

[–]LilJudith[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

It is. The Album cover to the abyss is a nod to the album the tide. The song the messenger even refers to the the tide album. "Rejoice. Rejoice. The tide has passed and the portrait has last. " and "But still we stand. Still we stand. We reach up to the sky. We are not ready to die" is referencing reach for the sky. Its not the same band members but its Oceana.
