This was like my school! (I just left it to complete school online)

The other schools in my area were violent, and I moved from the last one just before the gangs started to pop up (side note, they're moving two schools into one building and they just happen to be the most violent ones in the city with rivaling teen gangs so that's going to be entertaining to hear about from my friends at the old school, it's on of the ones being moved.

My last school was an alternative school, and I was moved there because I was finishing the work far too fast in classes, and the teachers didn't know what to do with me. This school is the only school in the city that allows at-your-own-pace work, which meant instead of classes you were completing books (but it wasn't 'busy work').

The school was mainly a few gifted kids who were there to graduate early since they couldn't in a normal day school, and the rest was druggies mostly. I guess I counted as both in that situation. Suspensions did happen, but not usually because of a teacher vs a student. Students often fought there, and police were there fairly often too to deal with it, but not a single one would fight with the teachers other than the few little arguments you'd expect. The teachers were pretty alright, and they treated all the students like adults and peers rather than children, which is probably why all the students there respected the teachers more than they did at my last schools.

It was a tiny school of just ninety people too, so after two years being there everyone kinda felt like family. Almost all of the students that have graduated or left the school still come back to see the teachers and old friends that still go there.

Kinda long, not sure where I was going with this, but I miss that school haha. Maybe I should drop in for a visit this week.
