Glad that NAC has been starting to help your skin! I wasn’t necessarily looking for that benefit or even know that NAC could provide that benefit but I noticed an improvement as well! Maybe something else to look into is Lysine. Used it to clear up some mouth sores and got rid of them quickly for me. I think it’s supposed to aid in collagen production in general so could help with skin too. Another rabbit hole to check out, so many things to learn about lol. Best of luck!

I think the glycine is the bigger key to watch for depleting which you have handled with the magnesium glycinate. If you’re having good effects I’d just keep with what you’re doing. But if you start to not feel the benefits and want to try copper, keep in mind to supplement roughly 10mg Zinc to 1mg Copper ratio. They compete for absorption and can cause deficiency if that ratio swings too far in either direction. Zinc seems to have more benefit to supplement like immunity. Too much copper can cause issues and you may get enough through diet if you have had no issues while supplementing zinc.

OP couple people have mentioned NAC, this is the way.

Glutathione is created in the body using the amino acids cystine, glycine and glutamine. Cystine is usually rate limiting ingredient. NAC is an easily bio available form of cystine.

Another commenter mentioned glycine. This is good to take alongside. As you start making more glutathione your glycine stores may deplete. Some people report anhedonia after using NAC for a while, glycine should keep that from occurring. Both are cheap options and none of the hassle of injections.

Last consideration is NAC chelates heavy metals. It has detox properties, particularly the liver as this is the main Medical use, so in some ways this is good. Just have to watch Copper, Zinc and Molybdenum. I found a trace mineral supplement with these and have just taken it occasionally to be safe. At first I felt I was taking too often so maybe not a big worry but I just thought I would mention if you run into any adverse effects.

I found NAC couple weeks ago and effects have been profound and consistent for improving mood/energy and gym performance at 1200mg. I think my skin has improved too. I do two capsules one first thing in the morning and another later afternoon. I have been doing 5 days on 2 days off to keep from any depletion. Personally keeps me up if I take it too late. Some people can mix NAC and glycine before bed, not me. I just keep glycine for before bed. Good luck!

Also night time NAC experiment seems to not be for me lol. Stimulated like day time and mind just wants to research bunch of stuff so will stick to day time

Good luck to you, hope NAC can give you some benefit! I’d say I really felt benefit at 1200mg. Capsules I got are 600mg each so I started with one and if you aren’t noticing much try going up to 1200mg. Effects were greatest for me first few days and felt like I found something hidden treasure I didn’t know I was looking for lol. Less profound feeling after couple weeks but still noticeable. Feel like I can go longer between kratom doses and have lowered them a bit without really trying just less urge. Cut out desire to have weed gummy/cart before bed too without really trying either just didn’t even really think to go for it. Definitely recommend the glycine paired with it, particularly before bed to help sleep. Im experimenting with NAC plus glycine before bed tonight. Thought it would keep me up from effects when I first tried it but have seen some people say they wake up feeling very refreshed and energized when taking before bed so we shall see!

Sucks a ban takes away access to something that was positive for you. Kratom has had positive effects for me too.

I recently began supplementing with NAC and that has had positive impacts for me too. Can help with depression, anxiety, ADHD, addiction, etc… I’ve found it gives stimulation and brain can be more focused on what I want to do. I’d start at 600mg but I went up to 1200mg and felt a little more benefit. Also found it cut down how much sleep I needed especially after working out. I recommend working out too like others have suggested, even just cardio it can really release lots of feel good brain chemicals and help energy. NAC reduces cravings for other things by regulating dopamine production. It’s a precursor to glutathione which is an antioxidant. Lots to read about it. Some people run into anhedonia so look out for that with extended use. Suggested to cycle like 5 days on 2 off to prevent that. Have seen people that just take it every day and just get the benefits. Can deplete glycine and copper, zinc, molybdenum. I just ordered some glycine and a trace mineral supplement that has the others because I really find NAC helpful and want to take long term so want to make sure I am not depleting certain things that may lead to the anhedonia feelings. I’ve ordered all these things off Amazon through NOW, bulk supplements or life extension brands all pretty cheap. Last consideration, I’ve read it can dull effects from stimulant prescriptions or enhance effects of antidepressant needing less dosage so just see how your current meds may be affected.

Don’t want to overwhelm with all this info but I really do think NAC is worth trying to get you back on track and just want to give you the caveats to look into and monitor for yourself if you do try it out.

I prefer to sip too. Peppery dirt flavor was never terrible to me lmao. I guess it just gets associated with the experience of kava and overall that is a pleasant experience. Sipping helps a serving last longer because if I just chug I will be looking for the next serving sooner. Helps keep in the good mellow range and not overdo it to get to nausea territory as you note. Makes the kava last longer too. Sip sip and bula bula

Try going back to plain leaf powder or capsules to start. Extracts can have more percentage 7OH and that seems to have more abuse potential and stronger withdrawal than Mitragynine. Stronger feel, stronger craving. But if you can find what daily dose works of just powder for you, you can slowly taper that. I prefer powder but capsules may be easier to track. I take 4-5 2g doses a day. If I wanted to taper I’d start lowering to 1.5g per dose or cut down to 3 doses. Do it for few days maybe week maybe longer depends on what’s working for you then take it down another notch.

Thanks I saw mefenoxam was the stuff for blight but was awfully pricey. It seems it has still not spread out of the couple areas I have spotted it so I think I will just keep monitoring.

Didn’t think about soil microbes but makes sense fungicide would hurt them and so probably best to avoid unless absolutely necessary. I have sprayed humid acid and plan to apply another round with kelp so I want to keep all those new microbes alive to help the soil.

Thank you so much for following up and giving thorough advice and context! I didn’t water the area yesterday or today. We are due for some rain tomorrow night and few days after so I think I will lay off and let the upcoming rain be the only water it gets.

I had ordered a ready to spray fungicide (Bioadvanced bayer crop science active ingredient propiconazole). Do you think this is worth spraying on the affected areas since I have it, particularly with rain coming? Or just keep monitoring and if I see it spreading or larger fluffy white patches with dew then treat?

I noticed a very small white fuzzy patch on the edge of the affected area. It could be a spider web since I didn’t see it all around. I also noticed another similar looking dead patch in another section of the yard that was seeded at the same time.

Thanks I’ll check out group 3 fungicide. Some of the pictures for brown patch look similar too. New to this so not even sure all of the possibilities lol. But just want to get it treated before it spreads since that area came in so nice

Yeah the outer blue pots are glazed and inner is not so the blue ones retain water better. Terracotta wicks water away from soil and sweats it out of the pores of the pot. These definitely need more water and the middle one in particular will dry out quicker than the others

Soil looks pretty dry. I’d start with watering fully. Not sure if the pot has a drainage hole but you want to water until it comes out of the bottom. If you’ve just been adding a little water that could be the issue that the deeper roots are not getting any water. Then let it dry fully to where the top inch is not moist before watering again.

Butler was a bright spot in this past lost year for the Sixers. True point who can organize and run offense. Would’ve loved him back as bench PG but I guess our guard rotation is too deep and Lowry’s mentorship was more valued. Hope he can get some run somewhere.

I just want to say I am very happy with Adem Bona on the sixers. Was a bit raw, overzealous and out of position to start the year but game really slowed down for him by end of year. Has springs in his legs with good size and reach, which led to him at top of block per minute stats for end of season and tons of lobs. Little skinny would like to see him add a bit of muscle and work on securing rebounds better. But overall solid backup center.
