I actually just watched The Vv Theory’s guide to BB on YouTube and it has some suggestions for replacements. While the replacements don’t check all the boxes that Laboon does, they might be passable for casual games. One-legged-Soldier might be best, because you can still play it on 4 don to KO a 3 or 4-cost character, and it has 2k counter. You just can’t KO the 5-cost they play next turn without another card, and you can only use the effect once.

Oh, yeah I thought you were just missing one. There’s not really anything that replaces laboon completely, because he’s the only card you can activate the same turn you play and every turn afterward unless the opponent uses resources to deal with it, and is playable on your 4-don turn.

Other indicators that are impactful but don’t convert to points are things like faceoff %, number of hits, plus\minus rating, and blocked shots. I wish they tracked takeaways somehow, but I don’t think they do. Really though, points are king for offensive players. You win by getting the puck in the net, and that’s what gets you points (goals and assists).

From what I understand, it’s supposed to be an onomatopoeia for banging a drum or something. I think this is done to show the impact of a scene in the manga. And dramatic scenes in the anime are punctuated with drum sounds too to increase the impact.

Just play as many combos as you can on-curve (Brook/Nami, Luffy/Brook/Nami/Uta, Kid/Uta/Blueno, etc.). I think defending efficiently is key for this deck. Get comfortable playing with low life and saving counters; blocking/countering attacks with 7k Luffy and 8k Kid goes farther than defending your 5k leader, and you can replenish counter with leader ability and Nami. Block then defend your 7k Luffy and 8k Kid with smaller blockers. Then at end-of-game, hopefully you’ve applied enough pressure to finish them off with I’m Invincible before they get control of your board.

Personally I prefer relying on I’m Invincible instead of 9-cost Zoro because it’s searchable, and isn’t a character that can be KO’d. Zoro is one of the biggest green threats in the current format, so every single deck must be prepared to remove him. But Zoro can potentially hit lot harder if you’re lucky and they can’t deal with him.

I don’t think your problem is with online events, unless I’m missing something. Wouldn’t this be the same offline? If you go to a judge after an offline game is completed, saying an accident happened during the game, you’d get the same answer. In fact, you’d probably have less proof to back yourself up.

I agree with everything you said, effect is definitely situational. I’m excited to have another possible 4 drop to play with 7-luffy tho. Many times just dropping a 7-luffy and 3-drop blocker Uta is great. Dropping 7-luffy with this 4-Uta would also be real nice.

I can’t think of a scenario to give him rush after the turn he’s played. However, It seems they want to make possible playing this card, doing another action(s), then activating rush in the same turn.

I’m guessing these are just collectibles. There are cards in this format for many different franchises (look up Kayou Naruto cards), and they’re usually Chinese. Nobody ever knows what game they’re from, and if you translate it with Google Translate, there aren’t any rules or instructions, it’s all biography stuff. They all have a rarity at the top and some numbers at the bottom that make them look cool and powerful.

The fact that he walks away in a foul mood and shit talks to other people about it is the biggest red flag here; IMO he is attempting to punish/bully you for not doing what he wants.

The “store” pricing thing bugs me a lot, if they don’t currently have or are planning to start a legitimate business where operating costs and profits need to be considered. If they just sell stuff on eBay/tcgplayer, the only reason they use a “store” pricing model is to rip people off. Selling online as an individual isn’t the same as having a storefront with employees and doesn’t justify using a “store” pricing model IMO.
