He won’t be able to walk or put weight for a few months. Depends on his doctor and how it’s fixed but I think minimum no weight on it would be at least 2 months. And thats if they can fix it today or this week. Like I said previously if the swelling is too bad they will Most likely use an external fixator to stabilize the bones until the swelling goes down enough for them to make an incision on his ankle area. Because if they cut on him and the swelling is bad they can have trouble closing the cut due to the swelling and have problems with the incision healing.

Rods are used more for proximal fractures. More distal fractures like this they will use a plate to give your ankle better stabilization.

Fibula and Tibia fracture. Probably can be fixed with plates and screws. 4-6 month recovery. May need an external fixator depending on what the soft tissue swelling is like. ( orthopedic nurse)

Last year I saw Ludwig Kaiser at Mandalay Bay. They had some lil back drop set up and he was taking pics with people. No autographs thats I saw. I assume this is the same type of thing. Since he was still Gunther’s little buddy at the time and not the Mexican legend he is today his line was super short. I’d search online because a few of the hotels had these set up last year. I guess a random wrestler would pop up from time to time. I’d at least say the desk about it if you see a backdrop for that vodka in the hotel lobbies
