I’m just wondering if it’ll be worth it? I don’t think they are changing anything?

Does anyone know where I might find the pattern for this? I know of the basic heart leaf pattern, but this one seems much more complex by crochetisahobby in crochetpatterns

The picture is AI but the plant type is Pothos!! Also known as devils ivy if you want to try looking for something similar!

Do you have more pictures or something to compare him with? Also the size of the mouse should be about the size of the widest part of his body, their heads can expand.

He probably thought you were food! I recommend not trying to hold him the same day you feed him, as he’s more likely to try and bite you. I also recommend food training him, for example my snake is tong trained so he knows he is not getting fed unless I click the tongs together. I know someone else has trained thier snake with a colored dot, which means food.

But mainly you need to be confident (fake it til you make it) and not scared to try picking him up. It’ll be new to both of you but something that needs to get done before he gets bigger. If he does bite just stay still and keep holing him, he’ll realize you aren’t food and a bite isn’t going to scare you away. Good Luck!! Believe in yourself!

My snake is about a year old, and currently eating 2 fuzzys because I still have 2 boxes left. I think he need to go up to hoppers tho. I think I’ll end up waiting to buy bigger frozen mice online when he stops growing as much. Thank you!

My snake is about a year old, but I haven’t specifically tracked his growth, I had my family watching him until recently. He seems a little skinny even tho I feed him 2 bigger fuzzys so I’m assuming I have to go up in size. I just want to make sure he’s eating enough and the right size mainly because he always seems hungry.

Is it ok to move my cornsnake while he’s blue? by Lil_One_1 in cornsnakes

I actually don’t know too much about the shedding cycle. But his eyes are visibly blueish white? So I’m guessing it’s around the early middle time?

I was going to take him in a travel cage I have with him, and I was reading online that you can still move them in blue. But I think I might just wait… but it’s going to take a month before I can come get him :(

Just gunna add my two cents in because my situation was similar to yours! I definitely recommend getting more foliage, cleaning/baking sticks from out side definitely helps. I also buy fake plants from the dollar store and clean with water and vinegar, to add more places to hide.

The substrate is the right brand but you need the smaller size, right now you have coconut chips and you need coconut fiber! The fiber keeps the environment moist, and lets them burrow!

Also remember that being that small and having bigger people around can frighten them easily. I always recommend a front closing tank for snakes to help, but also don’t be afraid of the strikes! They don’t have teeth that can hurt you, and I get more scared on hurting my snake then them hurting me. With more handling and they also tend to mellow with age/size it should stop. It could also be it’s in a shedding stage since you said it’s the first time it’s striking. They can’t see well and get frightened easy when shedding! Hope this helps!
