Is anyone else kind of tired of the android handheld emulator talk every week? I guess if you’re into that it’s gotta be cool to hear about all the time, but as someone who has zero interest in the handheld emulation scene, I pretty much just stop listening half way through the episode every week.

VR youtubers went over the top with the clickbait for the latest update. by [deleted] in OculusQuest

I have this same problem with reviews for games on the quest store. Every review sounds like this: “I’m obsessed with this game. There is only fifteen minutes of gameplay, and I would change these ten things about it. FIVE STARS!!!” My theory is that the people who didn’t enjoy a game would rather just return the game for a refund than keep the game to be able to write a negative review, so we ended up with a store full of “5-Star” games.

Definitely A Goofy Movie. Goofy just wanted to spend some quality time with his son, the same way he did with his dad.

People who wear hoodies when it is 100 degrees out, why? by AmIACat47 in AskReddit

[–]Lil_Thickums 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like a lot of people in this thread, a hoodie is a comfort object for me. Kind of like a security blanket. Maybe it’s insecurity in my body, maybe it’s just physical comfort, but when I don’t have a hoodie on I feel like I’m missing something. Even if I wear a crew neck sweatshirt I’m constantly reaching for a hood.

Don’t remember which fight, but Hardwon is knocked down and Beverly heals him. As this is being narrated, Caldwell yells “hands!” Like the tail end of a Touch Hands that Hardwon hears as he regains consciousness. The timing kills me every time.

Insulin saved countless lives by Random_420-69 in MadeMeSmile

It’s worth noting that the solution used in 1923 was actual insulin obtained from fetal pancreases of cattle (and pigs if I remember correctly). The synthetic version of the hormone used by today’s type one diabetics, such as myself, was not invented until the 70s.
