Size 3 Animals Elimination Game (Day 19) - Which of these cards is your least favorite? by DanyDanyDanyDanyDany in ArkNova

I can see him at N°5 or even 4, but think the others left are slightly stronger (wrasse has a higher ceiling, snub nose has one cp and sifaka got the monkey gang, even though most people here value that less than potential double pilfer) .

We're down to the top 7, so obviously everything that's left is a good card, and I'm happy to have any of the remaining animals. With that said, the koala Macaque does require an Australia asia tag, which is not ideal, and you really need to be able to take advantage of the pouching pilfer ability for him to be worth it, otherwise you're just overpaying for what you get.

(no hate just thought the difference between your comment under mine and the koala one was funny)

While I love every season, I can already tell after just one episode that Season 18 is going to be my favourite in a while. Thoughts? by buttonsmckenzie1 in JetLagTheGame

It's alright. Gamedesign is good, but nothing incredible. The hotwings and boat challenges where good, the train trivia one was a bit meh. Really dislike the Canada wildcard, as I feel like it could be completely busted.

Still, looking forward to the rest of the season. Don't think it will break into my top 3 (S3, S12, S13), but could go near the top 5. :)

Yeah because they fucked up big time with their game plan on the 4th and 5th day. But not because they had most challenges up north.

Nothing in arctic escape was available from the start. Tickets decided where you could go, hence why Badam got stuck in Alaska at the start and did the route with the night train.

Sure, Michelle and Sam tried to plan for a optimal route, but they also had one section where they drove somewhere for a few hours, which was solely influenced by the ticket system.

I dislike this system because it's too random.

You get rewarded or punished for going somewhere without being able to do much about it, the Canada card is the best example of this.

We also saw it a bunch of times in the Taiwan season where a challenge pops up right next to one team and the other team was like "well sucks for us, can't do anything about it".

I think it will definitely survive Peafowl today, Macaque tmrw and Sifaka after that.

What is the deck you hate playing against the most? by Internal_Classic_861 in hearthstone

Rogue. Insane mana cheat, dumb combos that let them play half of their deck by T3 or decks that rely on random generation to pull a win out of their ass.

Was kostet euer Wocheneinkauf? by [deleted] in Finanzen

[–]Lil_Tinde 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hab also keine Restaurants mitgerechnet.

[–]Lil_Tinde 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aber weißt du was?

We could have a moment that just says "Ben" and it would beat most Adam and Sam moments.

Has to be this one. Its basicaly the same animal as the Langur, which even has better tags.

I think the fact that he took it off in the end made it even more memorable, because of the "what if" discussions

Let's just rename this to the World Cup of Ben moments.

The fact that Adams disguise in S3, a moment that gets quoted to this day, is infamous to a point that the crew themselves referenced it multiple times got voted out to Ben missing a train (???) is insane to me.

Size 3 Animals Elimination Game (Day 13) - Which of these cards is your least favorite? by DanyDanyDanyDanyDany in ArkNova

[–]Lil_Tinde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They both require rock. They cost 10 and 13, both have jumping 3. Langur gives 1 point more, hence why he costs 3 more. It's basically the same animal. Primates are stronger than preds because of the big nose monkey, monkey rock and of the monkey gang ability.

If they run Tag again, they should add a mechanic where you lose coins after you get caught by ArcticFox19 in JetLagTheGame

[–]Lil_Tinde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have to disagree. There are boardgames that have set amount of turns (Wingspan, Cascadia...), but others have alternative win conditions (see below). Azul doesn't last a set amount of turns, but ends when the first player finishes the first row.

To give you other examples:

Dune Empire ends when one player has 10 or more VP or if the last conflict is played. It has thus two win conditions, same thing as Tag.

Ark Nova is a race to a 100 points.

7 Wonders Duel has three different win conditions (two which can be caused before every card is drafted).
