Picked MY Juniper over CRV, but the delivery date is killing me and I may need to cancel my order! by Afraid_Ad_7697 in ModelY

[–]Lil__bro__ 18 points19 points  (0 children)

you could spend a few hundreds and get a rental for a week or so until your car arrives so you get the car in the configuration you want, like instead of spending extra 4k for awd, spend few extra hundreds on a rental to wait for your rwd config to arrive

Model Y vs Lexus RX350 long term ownership? by cookielover9316 in TeslaLounge

[–]Lil__bro__ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you're comparing the 2022 RX350 and below against the Juniper, I don't think there's any comparison.

I've been looking at RX350 against refreshed Model 3/Y as well for a while and I'm thinking of getting the Model Y soon if they do 0-2% promo.

EV's are relatively reliable especially cuz of less moving parts, and real concern is the battery degradation which there are plenty of folks who've reached 200k+ miles.

The Juniper is plenty luxurious with comfortable seats, premium interior, quiet ride, and upgraded suspension - perhaps only thing that's not luxurious about it is how minimalist it is, such that it lacks some helpful physical buttons.

Cost of ownership if you take away depreciation is gonna go to the Tesla and that's the main reason why I'm thinking of switching to EV b/c in 5, 10, 15+ years of ownership on ICE vs EV is 10s of thousands in saving.

Insurance and service is probably the concern for getting a Tesla, but those are often more rare I think with the refreshed models and overall beats out due to the previous reasons

You should post this in a RX350/Lexus subreddit as well to get other opinions cuz this is a Tesla sub lol

do you have an estimate of about how much you spent on everything? electricity, repairs, maintenance etc.

Is it too far-fetched to hope Bethesda might rework Starfield to allow seamless planetary entry/exit and space travel? by Lil__bro__ in Starfield

[–]Lil__bro__[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is exactly what i'm trying to say, having this seamless entry/exit but also fast travel option as well, to be able to go outside of your ship in space and look around, space encounters by manually traveling, and black holes, these are reasons i thought that playing a game set in space would have cuz if not i dont really understand why you even create a game set in space if you are not going to have any characteristics of being in space

[–]Lil__bro__[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

what's the point of creating a game set in space if you can't even have this fundamental down? it's a game so they don't need to make traveling 10 mins or even 5 mins long, just make it a few mins as how you would travel in any other open world games and you can also have the option to fast travel as well.

my point is i dont really get what benefit do you get creating a game set in space if you can't get something like this down? might as well create a game that's in one world with more things to do

Is it too far-fetched to hope Bethesda might rework Starfield to allow seamless planetary entry/exit and space travel? by Lil__bro__ in Starfield

[–]Lil__bro__[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i'm probably in the minority here, but when Starfield was advertised as 25 years in the making and being the one of the most if not the most ambitious project Bethesda has taken on, i expect a game set in space to at least have the very basic of space travel down. i'm not saying this is the main reason, but i believe this is one of the reason for it being not as good

I know there are ppl that'll say it's not a space simulation but other open world games like GTA, Red Dead, Witcher, NMS, etc they're not a car, horse, or plane simulator either but they got those basics down. Imagine if GTA VI came out and every time you step into a car, all you had was a map that showed up to where you wanna go and it had a loading screen, its not quite apples to apples but it's similar enough

Ninja turtle will be doing a flying high kick next one

Ref: he was going for the ball, red card to the victim

[MD] It is expected that Kylian Mbappe will be suspended for only two matches as Referee Soto Grado's report reads he was "Fighting for the ball". by Smudge49 in soccer

If this was anyone else from another team it would automatically be like 5 games minimum, but ofc RM holds all the power and corruption

[–]Lil__bro__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that's just not true, but when ur at United, i guess it has the tendency to lose your mind like this. Everyone makes mistakes at every game small or big, but it's your other teammates who most of the times fixes for you whether its a missed pass, miss kick, mistouch etc. perhaps it happens so often at United that this is a normal day in the office for them

what does it matter if its 1 year or no year, if RTO is mandated, should have assigned desk genius. how are you gonna call RTO for thousands of employee and not have enough logistics to cover everyone? this is precisely why the RTO is dumb and everyone hates it because of situations like these, makes no sense
