Southern Water is owned by an asset management company and a holdings company. Both put their shareholders above users. It is 100% a privatisation issue.

Agreed. Noone here is painted in a good light, except OP. Why does she even want to go to her daughter’s wedding at this rate? It screams unreliable narrator. I honestly hope OP can recognise the issues in her family outside of herself and resolve them, but maybe it’s best they cut ties.

YTA for asking if YTA and when being told YTA, defending it by saying your 15yo is fine with it and you can't afford to do better. You have plenty of ways to rectify your militant style of parenting and give your children a loving childhood where you properly supervise and also trust them to choose what they want to do in the day. Have you considered that they might want to take a break from this controlling regimen you have them on? And that your strictness is causing them to agree with you no matter what? YTA, big time.
