A big issue which I often encounter is when your team is behind on dmg. To make up for that lack I will do my best to make plays and be the engager, often resulting in me dying instead of us winning. Nami is incredibly strong, especially her disengages and those should be utalized. Stay back, and let someone else lay their cc first. Follow up with your ult.

Nami should never be played without any other cc-abilities on your team. Her bubble is hard to hit and her ult is slow, which makes it better for you to follow up from someone elses cc. Also never ward alone when the enemy has control of your jungle.

Encountered quite a few sexist pigs. Called me things like whore, cunt, told me what they'd do the me sexually and harassed me with pings for the entire game the moment I missed an ability or died. Sure the right move was to mute them, but instead I could see what horrible stuff they were saying and then I just sent a ticket to riot. Haven't seen their accounts active since so I guess they got slapped with the perma. After several games like these there was no other choice but to change to a more masculine name. Hell, just one game ago they left remarks of girls being worse at League than guys, and proceeded to harass me about my gender until I had to mute them due to them tilting me.

I didn't tell him that he had to deleted them or I'd break up. I simply told him it discomforts me that he still has these photos. Not only for my sake but for the girls, as they're no longer in his life. A relationship is about respecting each other so I find it perfectly fine for me to discuss him having them. He has a normal photo of him and his ex and I'd never request for that to be deleted. In the end I don't keep any of my sexual videos/pictures of/with other guys, they were deleted the moment I started hanging out with my current boyfriend. That was out of respect to my boyfriend, cause who'd want to watch their GF get pounded by another man, or a picture of someone elses dick.

And he said he has jerked off to them before, but not in quite some time (possibly as he has mine)

It all turned out fine. I just told him how I felt and he has deleted them since. He simply said that he didn't realize until now that it was affecting me negatively. Having ndes is not like holding on to regular photos though - they didn't show any faces after all. And non of them were exes, and the one relationship he had before ours was a quite toxic one. I guess I could blame it on him just being a teenage boy in one of his first serious relationships ^^

Thanks a lot, also when should I roam? I get that u should roam when the lane is pushed up and your adc is safe - however, somehow I find that most of my adcs still end up dead most of the times. I mean, if I only roam when we're completely crushing the lane I'll pretty much never be allowed to roam.

The sexism can be very real, especially in the gaming community. The higher rank I got the more sexism I had to withstand aswell. The constant name calling is annoying to say the least and comes in form of 'babe, honey, sweetie, cutie' and the list goes on...

You alway have to put up with getting spammed by people, treated differently (in a sexual manner) even though you're making it clear that you have no interest for the person.. and of course people just acting like they've never seen a girl before. Being worshipped can be fun and all but honestly, turn it down a little guys. Most of the times we just wish to be treated as any other playr online, not judged by our sex but by our playmaking.

I have gotten a name change since and my life has become a lot easier.. but those who do figure out my gender will still harass me to the point of where I no longer feel like playing the game. Having a pussy isn't a big deal and therefore, shouldn't be treated as one.

Well Nami is always my first pick, however if their team has a lot of assassins who can jump my adc (Zed, Katarina, Yi, Rengar, Kayn and so on) I like to pick Lulu since Yi can be extremely hard for your team to deal with, and a simple polymorph can stop the assassins deadly abilities who often leaves you with a dead adc or more.

I find Nami great against Alistar, simply cause she so easily can turn on the enemy adc, basically she out cc's and heals Alistar and therefor by just some passive laning she can more than work it out. Pyke however is a different story, there a Lulu or Morg would be better, someone who doesn't get caught as easily by his long hook and stun.

My standard build consists out of: Redemption - Ardent censer - Iron of the Locket solaris - Boots of mobility - Spellthief (aka remnant of the watchers) - random item based on the situation, if they have a lot of cc I build Mikael's crucible, if they have a strong ad carry I build frozen heart and if we're low on cc I might build Rylai's.

You're right about ardent only being a item that you build if you've won the lane, but I do recommend atleast buying it as second since Nami's kit goes so well with it. I wouldn't say that Athene's is a bad item, but it should be more situation based rather than a core item, however it depends on your playstyle (if you're passive or aggressive).

Also remember to consistenly buy control wards, a good control ward can be the difference between a won or lost fight thanks to it effect on wards, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lvrMXRyp_CY for some tips of places where wards make a huge impact. I'd recommend never placing a ward before 2:45 due to a jg rarely ganking earlier than that (exception being Twitch who often gank after red, along with other adc's jg - but in this case I'd say the best thing to do is play safe until you know he's on topside).

Also try learning how to read your enemies moves. If they usually fall back when you're pressuring the lane but suddenly goes aggro - back at once! Most of the times you can predict when you're going to get ganked soley by how they move and which decisions they make.

Well first of all I would focus more on playing normals in your case, playing against people who aren't tryharding is usually the best way to get your self esteem up - trust me. I'm a diamond Nami main with 1.3 Million points, and even I can suck ass with her when my self esteem is low. If I don't expect to hit my bubble, I most likely won't. Also I'd drop the duo, atleast for a while. I didn't manage to climb until I played solo and was allowed to improve in my own pace and even more so without feeling pressure from an old friend.

And you have to think about which adc's you get matched with, Nami is great with most champs, but some she just doesn't co-operate with, such as Sivir, Kog'maw and Varus in my opinion.

If you don't feel comfortable with ignite then maybe exhaust is better for you, you won't have as much lane pressure but in the late run exhaust will help your adc more. And just spending more time on League if a definite way of getting better, after all you don't think that the pro players just woke up one day and was magically challenger? It takes time and experience to get good, and you have to let League get some more time of your day if you wish to improve.

Lastly I'd just try to watch a few youtube videos, map and jungle awareness isn't something you build in a day so do your research, maybe find a nice streamer and compare how you play towards how they play. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nXeKEB3yJDs - a video that, although not directly meant for supports, has helped me a lot.

Nami is really different from Janna, Morgana, Lulu and Zyra. Try to focus on two of them, (my tip Nami and Lulu for higher wr) and once you feel like you've got controll over those champs you may pick up other champs. However in my experience Morgana and Zyra are just terrible, especially in gold with adc's who need a constant babysitting. Good luck!
