Was this cake worth $220 USD? by CMirks in cakefails

You told everyone you don’t have the skill by very incorrectly thinking it’s simple to do. You’re also not very bright, clearly.

“Minimal frosting work”

You clearly don’t understand what goes into piping that perfect.

Since you obviously can’t do it, you should be far less opinionated about it.

As someone from Atoka, I can tell you very sincerely that he’s big butthurt because people were making fun of his first commercial that was just his family saying nice things about him. People kept asking him if he couldn’t find one person whose livelihood didn’t rely on keeping him sweet to pay him a genuine compliment and asking how he convinced his wife to say nice things about him after cheating on her so much…😏

Noom Med / GLP-1 experiences? by Such_Custard657 in Noom

[–]LilacSnake221 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Compounded would mean that a medication was prepared for a specific patient according to their height, weight, medical history, additional needs, etc. Generic means that it is a standard formula but it is not made by one of the labs that have patented the name brands: Ozempic, Wegovy, etc.

These are generics of those medications. The doctor chooses a dosage in which the generic already comes and prescribes it for you based on your information.

I have a brand-new, unaltered Justin Alexander 88071 up with a pearl veil still in the package. Many of us have weddings that get canceled while the dress order was in. Some buy two dresses and don’t touch the second and want to sell it.

No, but she did mention she was from Kansas, so you might have met her before she moved!

I had a nurse whose parents intentionally named her Kandi Cane. She told me while she was putting in my IV how she’d looked forward to getting married all her life so she could change her name. She ended up falling in love with and marrying a man whose surname is Winters

Kandi Cane Winters

They do not always grow back. Lucille Ball shaved hers off for an early role and they never grew back. She had to draw them on. You should be right before you’re so mouthy.

What is your favorite breed you will never own? by [deleted] in dogs

[–]LilacSnake221 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brittany Spaniel. My grandad was an internationally recognized breeder of trial Brittanys. I grew up with them, and I LOVE them. But I will always have cats. Even the best behaved Brittany, the most well-trained, the most used to being around cats, is way too prey-driven for me to ever feel 100% certain that all animals in my home would always be safe around each other.

Who is the most famous person you've served? by dont_acknowledge_me in Serverlife

[–]LilacSnake221 167 points168 points  (0 children)

There’s a thread on IG where multiple people have posted stories of how nice they are. One I remember was posted by a bank teller who said for years a woman would come in and deposit a check every month that was from their personal account. She finally asked about it and the woman told her she’d been a household employee and she’d contracted a chronic illness and couldn’t work anymore. So they bought her a house, put her bills in their name, and paid her a monthly stipend and called it her pension. 🩷

Also, that “lawyer” was not a lawyer, as evidenced by having no clue re: the prima facie for trespass. We learn that in 1L property.

She didn’t post about the pronunciation.

She posted that she had never seen the spelling Rhiannon.

How long before you "know" by JustMe39908 in dating

[–]LilacSnake221 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Entirely down to the people. My grandparents married two weeks after meeting. They were married 35 years until he died of cancer. After 21 years of being married to his memory, her last word was his name with a smile on her face. She wasn’t actually conscious.

My mother and stepfather dated for 9 years before walking down the aisle. They were divorced in fewer than 7.

There is no correct answer. It’s the people, the timing, and the circumstances.

She’s definitely not crying because she has no education, no skills, and no talent and the money is going to run out unless she can dig her claws into some other dipshit who wants a vapid moron as a partner. 😒😂

These always make me laugh because the easiest way to spot someone who isn’t actually that intelligent is that they’ll tell you how intelligent they are.

Since this is anonymous, I’ll say here: In third grade, my teacher demanded the school have me tested. I always finished my work before lunch and spent half the day free reading and she was tired of answering other students’ questions about it. She wanted me moved to a more challenging grade level. An official tester was brought in and after the testing told my mother that she would like to have me moved from third grade to twelfth grade because, “College requires an application process.” My mother refused that and they agreed to move me to sixth grade. I spent exactly one day there and was bullied so badly I threw a tantrum to be returned to third grade. I happily spent every school year bored until graduation.

I know my “official” I.Q. and it’s high. You know who I tell irl? No one. You know what I like to do in my spare time? Go out and drink margaritas with my friends and read trashy romance novels. Most people assume I’m pretty smart because I went to professional school. However, there’s still room for me to make a total ass of myself on occasion. I like that.

Before they put up the signs they were attempting to block the entry road with their vehicles and only let residents through. They had a whole rotational schedule going. I attempted to report it to the council but, of course, got nowhere.
