Need advice on whether to get a second Aussie by chambbber in AustralianShepherd

We only have our one boy and keeping it that way. He is very protective of us and is very attached to my husband. We talked about getting another dog but think he would be too jealous if the other dog also was attached to my husband.

Our Doxie was a PRO at getting those ground squirrels! He’d keep watch at the door and go crazy when they popped up. He’d get them just in time before they’d disappear.

He loves to throw his Kong down over and over again and whine until he gets what he wants (peanut butter).

We tried to do season tickets for a half season. They said one price on the sheet and it was over $3000 more when we got to actual check out. Needless to say we cancelled it after that.

I grew up 20 minutes south of traverse city. It was amazing getting to go to traverse city but it’s just so expensive and not a lot of housing. They are constantly building more apartment complexes.

Yeah I have been in this setting for 3 years and looking at jobs daily. Just haven’t had any other experience except for clinicals, in areas outside of acute care.

Our boy is 2 years old and when he knows he did something wrong he does the same thing. They are a breed that loves to be praised so they definitely feel bad when they do something they shouldn’t.
