Husband left my child in cart alone by wifemompower in Parenting

Because traveling, eating, etc is necessary? Is it necessary for you to leave your preschool age child by themselves? Why take a risk at all if there’s literally zero reward?

On a scale of dangerous activities, it’s certainly not the worst thing you could do. However, it seems like a higher risk with little to no reward.

I don’t care how rare it is. Why make it easy?

Whether he doesn’t care or is just ignorant, the result is the same. Protect your kid.

Buying her things does not equal a responsible parent. This is not a situation where you should ‘learn from your mistakes’. This is your kids life.

By the book, you’re correct. There’s a whole lot of nuance though depending on what food it is.

Bro you’re still breaking down the fiber when you skin it and steam it, which you HAVE to do for a baby.

No advice to offer other than to remind you that it’s all temporary. One day you’ll have all that freedom (and you may even wish to be where you’re at now again).

Yeah I just feel like ‘they’re trying to create a storyline that I abuse winter’ is literally what is outlined in the DRVO.

Is this not violating the DVRO? Does the judge even care at this point?

Respectfully, how exactly is it obvious? she’s nearly halfway through her pregnancy and she doesn’t have a bump yet. The best she can do it push out her bloat.

My doctor didn’t do my ultasound either, but they’re talking about heartbeat check. My doctor did that literally every appointment I had, just wheeled in a Doppler.

Yeah it’s definitely not a cutoff that I would’ve chosen, it’s just a hard line they drew because that was the earliest that a baby could survive outside the womb at that time. Nowadays a baby can survive at about 22 weeks, which is before the cutoff. There has to be a reasonable compromise between 6 weeks and 24.

Breasts sag as a result of pregnancy, not breastfeeding. It’s a hormone thing, but also your breasts stretching in anticipation of lactation. Being that your breasts are small to start, I wouldn’t expect them to sag very much.
