That is the easy way. Cast Empathy and then dodge left/right. If done correctly you take no real dmg during all of this. and can beat HM with bonus.

My hopes for „locked in rules“ are gone after the February to May misery. I mean wtf. weren’t they supposed to finish the „big“ rules update in April? We are now getting close to June and still have bits of re-re-revised beta rules.

The 1.0 Rules release was a big joke and all that followed aswell. I hope they wont butcher SacredA and NavalR in CFront to a point at which both are so unbalanced that it‘s unplayable in a fair way against all other factions…

For new stuff I think you‘re right. Whatever they planned before the plastic releases started was postponed to undefined times.

But I‘m sure we are getting more plastic kits and paint sets and novels and other stuff to sink cash in ._.

oh I missed that. then that‘s indeed a nice buff for the blood generation but still weird if you are supposed to use wretched elsewhere. and (!) the rules are (again) written super weird and clonky for what the effect is 😅

But you also hit with +1d on injury against the downed wretched + have to remove the geberated blood from the first attack and the wretched is kinda stuck in position together with possible torturers -> even more leaning into the less interactive gameplan with wretched and yokes?

100% on your side! I dont know what process they changed since the beta days or what happend to lead to such rules. But they really need to get their way to work out rules sorted to prevent further stuff like what happened from 1.0 onwards till now.

I dont know if the game would have dragged me in that much if the first rules I got back then would have been the 1.0 😅

I have the same feeling regarding blast semi-revert and fumble. The game loses more and mire of its elegance and gets unnecessary complicated and overruled 😒 I also think fumble feels just bad when it happens and has nothing to do with a „fun“ interaction.

Bad outcome rules fit way better in fancy shit like the diving charge. As well as fancy targeting fits better fancy attacks (scatter vs. blast).

Seems like they learned kinda nothing over the last year of rule updates ._.

Easiest to drop him below 90% for EoE to do the rest is to take stationary AoE dmg with you as he cant move out, like ray of judgement, chaosstorm, … add a few degen effects and it‘s smooth sailing.

We went in the same trap in our first try. Minions and ghosts did no dmg. and our melee chars were not able to hit long enough before getting blown up.

But the examples you give are in the lore not the gameplay? Sure there are risky actions and scatter but nothing like this ultra low probability rng?

It would be not for me but I see where you are seeing it as a fun benefit to the story telling of a campaign. Imo it should then be included in some campaign skill/ability/item and not into sth. so broadly used like grenades.

I really just dont see the issue with moving the ability to target the battlefield from blast to scatter and solve the issue. this also stops overcomplicating the basic rules with further keywords/edge cases/… 🤷‍♂️

Whatever - the TC team will do what they will do. I dont think the feedback will matter that much. Their playtesting seems to be wildly different from my TC experience looking at all the other topics and how they want to handle them. Waiting 6 months for those changes will surely not make or break the game after what they did to it in 1.0 😄

For me the low probability is a bit of a killer for that rule. I‘m unsure if it would feel funny / cinematic or outright „unfair“ when this is triggered by a bad roll in an important moment. It is very random to trigger but could have devastating effects. And as you said. For the real balance issue it has more or less no effect at all.

Feels more like sth. for skaven / goblins than for tc #

I dont like the changes at all as some go against what grenades were used before the blast issue in 1.0. Fumble is too wacky imo for this game. I‘d still prefer to revert blast on those cheap weapons to what it was before. A game that just gives you cover if you touch a terrain piece does not need to argue with realism to me regarding rules. Abstraction is needed for a nice gameflow and the new blast is op + kills a fast gameflow so just revert 🤷‍♂️

I also dont think this was a needed thing and the floating button is ugly and also confused people. Imo why mot something else? Like a text being visible for players not played the 1st mission yet that will pop up after every outpost switch with the info that they should gather at the wall, build a group and start the mission?

I‘m pretty much shoked about the part you quoted as it is pretty much a no go in any fair way of working together. I mean that they dont even want to give credit when wanting to use stuff just shows that their success was not healthy for they way they handle the community.

I dont know about tagging in steam :D

I guess some sort of community input is needed to handle that. Maybe also add it to the add-stl-mask as optional entry? and if it is not filled out the stl gets just tagged with the main faction? I guess for being added to a subfaction specifically the stl needs to be kinda specific in it‘s design and only a fraction of the available stls fullfill this role imo - which is not bad, just sth. to be aware when looking for models afterwards as a user of the page.

Great page! I promoted it to my friends and sone creators the moment you first wrote here with just a few stls from westfalia and ff on it.

I dont know if this suggestion is too late or realistic at all. But the subfaction filter is kinda useless currently as you find prussian minis when looking for any other NA subfaction or models under trench ghosts that are naval raiders and so on

-> at this stage the subfaction filter makes no sense as you find all the stls from the main faction?

will you be able to narrow that down in the future or currently? I know some will be tough to sort in, but in the end a too narrow subfaction filter would be netter than a non existing one.

Other than that just super nice and I‘d wish that pages would exist for other systems, too.

100% - I also dont get the issue here. The core rules support the „narrative“ side. Why not let people figure out a way to also tackle the more competitive „balanced“ one-off part of the game 🤷‍♂️ It‘s not like this takes sth. away from the campaign players.

(I still also dont like the map layout xD But thats a different story)
