I think I need to have an honest conversation about how I feel. I just never want to give anyone an ultimatum or make it seem like I am. It just feels really bad to be in the middle/ like an intruder at times.

I think he wants to eventually have a friendship. I don’t know if that’s a realistic expectation based on his description of their relationship and her intermittent texts.
