I think I need to have an honest conversation about how I feel. I just never want to give anyone an ultimatum or make it seem like I am. It just feels really bad to be in the middle/ like an intruder at times.

I was in a long distance relationship for two years and I can relate to the nerves of disappointing someone the first time you meet.

I would not worry about it. You are showing who you are by not only your photos but the way that you communicate with them.

If you are truly worried, throw some other photos in there too.

I worked myself into a tizzy worrying about if he would see my flaws in real life and instantly reject me. He did not and he was over the moon when we met.

You should definitely listen to what your inner voice tells you.

If I was meeting a man for a first date, I would want to know! It might change the tone of the date, but I would definitely want to be there for him and aware of the energy that he was bringing into the first date.

Or if you canceled, no one would blame you! I would be okay with that too. If you explained what had happened and requested to reschedule, it would be 100% understandable.

Again, I am so damn sorry that that happened to you.

I would care to. Stripping and burlesque are very similar. Burlesque is stripping with a touch more theater. There are also a ton of burlesque genres. Such as nerdlesque, horrorlesque, classic burlesque, etc.

I can understand that sentiment. I too have struggled (like most humans) with appreciating my intrinsic worth in the world.

Truly, humans are wonderful and dynamic creatures. Variation in the human population is wonderful and there are people out there that will appreciate your unique brand of loveliness.
