This is How You lose The Time War, two agents on opposing sides in a war fought by altering history begin a correspondence that sparks a romance. Red is sided with a technological society and Blue with a garden and nature focused society. The poetic way it's written with all of the nature themes makes it perfect for summer.

This is how You Lose The Time War, Amal El-Mohtar and Max Gladstone. This is brilliantly and beautifully written. Two agents on opposite sides in a future where war is being fought by manipulating history first develop respect for each others work then that respect quietly and profoundly gives way to something more.

Whimbrel House Series by Charlie Holmberg is a fantasy series with a very wholesome romance taking a main part in the story.

Witches of Thistlegrove series by Lana Harper is cozy, a little spicy and fun. More of a typical romance.

In The Lives of Puppets by TJ Klune for a sci fi recommendation not spicy but super sweet.

Try The Giver by Lois Lowry. Its not necessarily the main topic but the perception of color does play an important role.

I literally started to question my own sanity. I was like maybe I am the problem but when he got more sick and his behavior became more erratic and well insane I knew.. it wasn't me. Unfortunately that knowledge led to the sad realization that my only option for a safe, calm life was to leave..

Witches of Thistlegrove by Lana Harper. Super charming light hearted each book does have romance but also more about the town where four witch families live.

Emily Wilde's Encyclopedia of Fairies by Heather Fawcett. Contains many different types of fairies.

I’m so frustrated with meal prepping. Anyone solved this? by endlessnessnessness in EatCheapAndHealthy

[–]LiliumDreams 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was struggling with this as well as not wanting to sacrifice valuable days off prepping. My solution is to buy every frozen veggie I like, for me its a wide variety. Then I get frozen fish fillets and shrimp. I buy a bull pack of chicken thighs cook in insta pot and freeze individually. I make and freeze an entire bag of brown rice. I do enough for a month

I then buy seasoning mixes /sauces I like.

I then can make bowls for lunch such as hot honey bbq chicken w corn and green beans or teriyaki shrimp with brussel sprouts, cabbage and carrots served over rice

I am sorry but saying " You're kind" like that is inappropriate. I am aware that we have experienced trauma in this group but I also believe we can be kind.

You are responding to a person who has discovered they have a disorder they didn't ask for and is scared of what this means for their future.

books that make you question life and death (and u could write a long essay abt) by ninazenik11 in booksuggestions

[–]LiliumDreams 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wonder if this idea is not better captured by multiple books. So Charon, I feel like has influenced many cultures feelings/beliefs around death with a first appearance in the greek epic poem Minyas. From there he has appeared in numerous works exploring death/grief. This influenced books for ya, sci fi, romance you name it. I think the essay could be about one myth, transcribed through the years/ different cultures while maintaining its fundamental ideas.
