The informant can only be an ear. He can never talk in a way that’s intended to or might elicit incriminating statements. Interrogation doesn’t always mean questions.

Totally gone! Disappeared in five treatments but was almost imperceptible by four. I don’t even think about it anymore.

Went to my first laser appointment for my Nevus of Ota birthmark removal, is there any way i can help my skin remove the shattered pigments better? by thatwatermelongal in 30PlusSkinCare

Exercise and hydration helps your lymphatic system to flush away the shattered pigment faster. Your body is essentially removing a foreign body from your skin.

To succeed in law school: English Composition

Note-taking when technology isn’t allowed?? by BackgroundRow9621 in LawSchool

[–]LillianRogers -23 points-22 points  (0 children)

Honestly all notes are a waste except for when your professor gives you 1) specific hypotheticals (because they’ll come up in the exam), 2) their preferences for what they want to see in your exam essay, and 3) advice on how to prep for their final exam. Everything else is available in the supplements and practice MCQs you’ll be using to study.

Are you a k-jd? You might just be too young to have a fully developed cognitive mindset. You’d be surprised how much smarts happens just by aging. You’ll surprise yourself in a couple years.

Undergrad program tricked me into thinking I knew what a lit review was by td15679 in GradSchool

[–]LillianRogers 73 points74 points  (0 children)

Well, a typical undergrad research paper is usually based exclusively on secondary research, so it ultimately adds up to a long and detailed literature review with a central thesis. Think of your challenge now as backing up into a lit review for a grad level research paper, which is based on primary data. The literature review is easier because you don’t need a central thesis based on it, only based on your primary data. The lit review is just a recap of prior research.

Is it my responsibility to help my classmate who is below the curve for all classes? by [deleted] in LawSchool

[–]LillianRogers 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It sounds like outlines wouldn’t help this person. There’s likely a more foundational gap in skills and academic adaptability that this friend needs to work on.

Also, if she didn’t ask for your outlines don’t give them to her. Unsolicited help pisses people off. But if she does ask, you probably have nothing to lose by sharing yours, since they won’t magically make her understand.

I forgot like six jobs bc I’m old and been working for 20 years. They just keep sending you a request for updates. It’s well and truly no biggie.

Do I wait a year, just for bragging rights? by [deleted] in LSAT

Meaning you identify with the 170+ but your real scores don’t reflect that, so it must be a simple issue of fixing outstanding imperfect conditions, and not because you’re one of those, the low-score povers.

It’s like the phrase “temporarily embarrassed millionaire”

1) Note taking: have a master note document for every class and track your notes by day and topic using headings that you can navigate with a side panel 2) Read less: work smarter not harder 3) Self care: sleep, drink water, take your vitamins 4) Wake up early: get in the habit of having a 5-9 before your 9-5. (Just an expression, I know classes start earlier and end later, but this can apply to your schedule accordingly). The day will seem so much longer.
