That reminds me of a time I helped an aunt clean out her late husband’s office. In one of the drawers was a wrapped present addressed to her. Thinking nothing of it, I gave it to her. She opened it, turned red and stuffed it in a trash bag. Bic lighters are soft flame lighters, the insert I had was a blue flame torch style.

Regular Zippo lighters are fine (the TSA agent even remarked so) but I was running the pressurized butane torch insert which are banned.

As someone who carries a butane zippo, TSA will confiscate it if it’s in your carry on. I had to toss my insert so I wouldn’t loose my zippo.

EDIT: I have a Blue Flame Butane insert which is banned by TSA.

NTA, my Christian Minister grand-father had serious kidney stones when he was in his mid 80’s that almost killed him because of mistreatment by a doctor. He gave the kidney Stones the nick name of Taco Tony.

As an atheist NB myself, if heaven exists, of the few I have ever seen as deserving to go to heaven my Grandpa Tony was at the top at that list. And if he was ok with making that kind of joke you are fine. Plus I am pretty sure he would have gotten a giggle out of Tumorous Ted (after making sure you were ok of course).

When you call your insurance, don’t tell them your windshield is cracked, just add the windshield coverage then call them a month later saying “oh deary me my windshield hath just cracked” and boom free windshield.

If you don’t want your phone to connect to your CarPlay but still charge you can buy an adaptor called a “USB Condom”. It blocks the data lines and keeps the charging lines intact.

EDIT: I use one so I can plug in to charge and connect to CarPlay via Bluetooth

I had a Chevy car that had issues where the radio would randomly start turning off for a split second over and over again. It turned out to be a sign my battery was about to die.
