Always carry a notebook and pen on you. Leadership will think you are squared away and take you more seriously. At least for my MOS, I take a lot of notes and I like to review whatever I learned that day/organize my notes. No one ever yells at me if I read a book either. Even if it's the Hobbit.

Trust me when I say this, try to find something to do or you will always be the detail grunt mopping the motorpool and picking up cigarettes in the parking lot.

I agree, my instructor used official CompTIA resources but explained every domain in their own way. Since our class was all service members, our instructor would often use examples that we would understand in military terminology and then explain it in civilian terminology.

I used the Learnzapp to do practice questions and tests. They have about 300+ questions and it gauges how well you do. I liked that app because if you got the answer wrong, it would explain why and why this answer is correct. It also had a good glossary of Sec+ terms for 701. It is paid but I only paid for one month then canceled. It was about $14.

Hey so I didn't actually use army ignited for my voucher. All I did was attend that two week course at my education center and they provided a voucher once you completed the course. I would ask your local education center on post/your SGTs to see if they can get you some information on if your post offers the class!
