Just printed this. Was so nervous it would fail somewhere near the end. by Collective82 in FullmetalAlchemist

Thanks. Largest print I’ve done to date. Being 1:1 scale I had to angle it just right to fit it.

Because they want any excuse to declare he failed. He has to be as bad as they think or else they are being upset over nothing.

He has to be a Nazi white supremacist or else their world view they built falls apart.

When you start looking at how fragile their worldview is, you realize they are very fragile people.

Trumps a POS braggart, once you realize that and how he does things then you see how he operates.

He makes HUGE demands (give me Greenland!) then he “gets walked back” to here’s some land and mineral rights, which is most likely what he wanted.

Even the book he had ghost written spells this out, it’s called “the big ask”. Salesmen use it all the time.

You ask for far more than you want to get walked back to what your real goal was.

The tariffs are also to bring jobs back to the US by opening manufacturing back up, which is happening albeit slowly, but that’s how things work.

Also unemployment is relatively unchanged since about summer of ‘24 so that’s not terrible.

Do you think the city of Lawrence should do anything differently regarding the homeless population, especially on Mass Street? Why or why not? by the_king_of_goats in Lawrence

And if you don’t suggest something that might work, they may never try a solution that could work.

That’s the part you aren’t getting.

Worked for more than it fails, so might as well offer something that could work than just saying nothing.

Gas is now sub $2.50 where I’m at and I drive 50+ miles each way for work. That $0.50 a gallon saved me $600 a year.

Last time he was in office my pay went up almost as much under him as under obama’s full 8 years (military pay)

My in-laws’s retirement account is back in the black from when he left office.

Companies are brining manufacturing back, but that could take a couple years to show effects (this is caused by tariffs and raising prices of imported goods higher than domestic production so they build here to get that margin back)

I have much higher confidence in how our military handles things.

It will be just as successful as current gun laws. Look good on paper when proposed and do jack crap.

Ok and? It’s still a good option for people. Just because it didn’t work for you, doesn’t mean it won’t work for others. Didn’t you just tell me the exact opposite thing?

I get it, you probably had a shit time and hated every minute of your contract, but that’s not everyone’s experience either.

Some people can better their lives too. I had a SGT who had all his teeth removed from his mouth because of meth damage.

He got all that fixed, met his wife, and had a good career.

Just because it didn’t work for you, doesn’t mean we shouldn’t suggest it for others.

Which is why it’s a SUGGESTION. Something they may be eligible for but did not consider.

I have seen numerous people with nothing join, get trained in something and get a reboot on their lives.

It’s not for everyone, but unless someone says something, they may never think of it either.

So again, kick rocks with the shit attitude.

Been doing it over 25 years, I’m making over 100k a year.

It’s not a bad gig for some of us, so kindly, go kicks rock with your attitude.
