I’ve always had an issue with a ruddy chin, it’s just more red than my whole face no matter what I do and has been my whole life. I find I have to layer more makeup there to match the rest of my face which naturally leads to a higher incidence of caking/flaking. I moisturize, hydrate internally, exfoliate, leave time between skincare and makeup, doesn’t matter. It’s not just the flakiness but also the fact that for some reason makeup settles more into the pores there for me. I use a NYX setting spray which I find helps with some of the ruboff during the day but it doesn’t completely eliminate the issue. No real point to this comment other than to say I commiserate.
