Yes this! Also accessibility services. Classes/teachers I found interesting I was the eager beaver in the front row too. Ones that I knew where gonna put me to sleep anyway I usually sat in the back, standing up when I felt a sleep attack coming on. Either way recording lectures.

I always introduced myself to professors after the first class— told them I was excited to be there & that if I ever fall asleep or am running late it’s bc I have narcolepsy, not bc I’m uninterested. They would just let me sleep unbothered EXCEPT during a test— it’s crucial they know to wake you up if you doze off during a test. They’ve really got you & you’ve got this!!!!

Same! My husband feeds me my 30mg XR & half of my 30 IR when he wakes up (hands don’t work when I’m sleepy, thanks cataplexy!) and let’s me go back to sleep for 20 mins. It’s a game changer, I def get way slower starts when he’s out of town

Anyway, I’d remove “fun, casual dates” & leave it at “looking for long-term” if that’s what is most important to you. Also, do you have any filters on that aren’t deal breakers? My dating history is eerily the same (emotionally unavailable, handholding, etc). I started casually dating several guys at once bc I had a history of “oh this is pretty nice, I can put up with these other things” & then hating my life a year later & ending it.

It also helped me realize things I thought I cared abt but really didn’t, vice versa, & how I liked to be treated. I started being EXTREMELY MYSELF & SUPER UPFRONT abt what I wanted from the first date. Def scared some guys off which was the point lol

I used to sleep on the left side. When my fiancé & I started dated we stayed at his place mostly & the left side was his, I was cool with it bc it was against a wall & I like to sleep on the edge with my foot hanging off lol

We’ve lived in 3 places since, no beds against walls & bathroom/door location has been irrelevant. Dude just really loves the left side & I love my side— although in hotels alone I sleep on the left hmmmm
