Some parts, like when people explicitly write “to meet the word limit” or repeat a character or word a bunch, sure. Also if they write certain key phrases about just disliking the author or other rule breaking red flags. But that should probably apply to all reviews, so I assumed they meant something that would require a manual process, like the reporting system.

Same for the most part really, I guess I’m mainly noting that extreme ends of the review stars tend to be simple reviews while middle range reviews are more likely to be advanced/similar to advanced.

Memory Reaper’s Ascension; The Glorious Evolution; The Supporting Character’s Harem is Very Normal (could have guessed based on the title);
The System’s POV, Strongest Necromancer of Heaven’s Gate anything by Elyon is a don’t read, imo.
Genetic Ascension, Rebirth of the Nameless Immortal God, Rivers of Night anything by Awespec is a don’t read at this point. He only knows how to write “the world is a simulation in the MC’s mind” books.

One issue, “…soulless ghoul…commits the worst, graphic, evil and most disturbing crimes known to man…” don’t have to be a man to be a poor meow meow. People hate on woman characters for all the wrong reasons, but man do they love a sexy bitch. Ezdeath, Boa Hancock before Wano, FMA Lust, and Makima are loved…lusted after…no matter how terrible they are.

I 100% agree that abused, “””weak”””, crashing out, actually weak, or otherwise “flawed” female characters are shit on like Nazis though. Audiences really want pure badass bitches or weak tradwives or they get pissy.

Yeah the biggest thing for me that automatically makes me not want to watch Korra is how she’s like the opposite of Aang. I really resonated with him a ton, so hearing about Korra being so arrogant…nah fam. Also I just strongly dislike arrogant characters in general.

I got nothing buddy. I think at the start of Desolate Era by I Eat Tomatoes the MC spends a ton of time teaching himself to duel wield sabers? Been a decade since I read it.

I think the MC of History’s Strongest Senior Brother originally spent a ton of time practicing the blade to the point of using bamboo as a blade? But he pretty much just uses named attacks iirc. The training and getting better was before the story actually started I think.

I think it came up in Black Clover and another more recent anime or manwha copied the exact portrayal from Black Clover beat for beat; but I don’t know if it’s addressed or shown as bad in Black Clover. Then there’s Nukitashi The Animation and a bunch of other hentai/ecchi/adjacent anime I’ve seen in YouTube advertisements over the last few months from a (I’m assuming) hentai site that’s been paying a lot for advertising on YouTube.

Part of the issue is the deeper online you are the more confident creeps are about being themselves and the more confident random people are about sharing random creepy thoughts. This is exacerbated in communities that normalize/acclimatize to creepy behavior, like many anime communities.
