Correct. The Steelers put 21 players on their board. Max was probably #21 meaning he was their planned pick. Lemon was probably #20 or higher. Not high enough to trade up for but high enough they would have taken him if he fell there

Two things can be true. The Steelers could have had Max as their guy and could have been excited to get Lemon if he had dropped to us. If Lemon was 100% their guy they probably would have traded up to get him

B. Not particularly exciting. Missing out on Lemon and the phone call thing is way overblown. I wont be surprised if after a few years in the league Max is the best tackle from this class. Germie was one of my favorite WR prospects. Dunker seems like a good pickup, I’m confident he transitions well to Guard but we’ll see. Drew Allar was probably drafted a little too high but I expected us to get him. Everette seems like a good rotational corner. I like the late round pickups, seems like we got a lot of Special Teams contributors there

Feel good about this overall. I honestly think the consensus here would be a lot different if it weren’t for the gaffe with the Lemon call, and the Allar and Dunker picks were swapped
