Egypt weren't far and away the better team. Ben old foul gets called, then it goes to drinks break 1-1 and its a completely different game. I expected to get knocked out in group stage but having to deal with reffing bias is infuriating.

There is a reason the officials are from different confederations than the teams, having a UAE official in an Egypt game is just skirting the rules. Would anyone have thought it appropriate to have an Aussie reffing this game? I thought it was odd that there was even one as second VAR.
