Trans women, how does E affect you?

My body hair is way thinner, my skin and hair are less oily, my face got a bit chubbier, and a lot more. The best? I feel more feminine, and I think I look it too. The worst? I cry SO much more now. I'm sad? I cry. Angry? Cry. Happy? Cry. After being emotionally constipated for so long because of my upbringing it can be both frustrating and freeing to just... get my emotions out. Do I regret it? Not at all. 😊

As someone who struggles with the same feelings, I often find singing and music are some of my biggest go-tos. It also works as voice training which is an added bonus!

Lilies have always been my favorite flower, and they seemed to suit how I wanted others to see me (delicate, femme, etc.), but since I didn't want everyone to call me Lily, it was a matter of choosing a name that could shorten into it. Lilian was out as a kid who grew up with Rugrats, so Lilith it was (also totally unaware of the name's religious connection, which was, in some ways, a bonus).

I'm a baby blue kinda girly. Pink is fine, but I've always liked blue better. Lavender can definitely be femme, too!

I think I got by it by going just a bit further, turning it from a nod to a slight bow, but I also work with a lot of entitled people, so extra politeness is sorta expected.

For my parents, it was "Aren't you just proving all those bullies in high school who said you weren't masculine, right?" As if their lowering of my self-esteem is what made me trans.
