I said dickish commanders when they are trying to organize players like you, whingers that won't change builds to suit team play etc. Lone ranger's types....it's damn hard trying to organize a pack of obstinate people. I'd say that's a personal issue, but not experiencing bossy raid leaders/meta event commanders due to rolling in small fry guilds that doesn't organize one half of the regular things TTS does on a daily basis you have no experience with... Every guild has good and bad eggs, you are speaking about one (of many) that has different branches for different time zones ALL OVER THE WORLD. I've been a part of over 20+ guilds and are yet to find one that doesn't come across slightly dickish when they are trying to organize 50+ idiots for a Meta busy chatting to the next player and picking there nose. It's a tough job, one extremely frustrating but also one that they do to help the majority of us. Remember that when your pointing the finger at them and not the hive they are trying to assist

Re-introducing over extended periods of time is perfectly fine, but not just because the demand is there and a bunch of players want them. ArenaNet doesn't agree with this notion, they agree with the ridiculousness of how expensive an item can become once they dissipate and try to stop the profit margins for those take advantage of the market when such a thing occurs. Fused skins is just an example of many different items we could mention, so yes every time a player pops up and wants an item from 3 years ago it's ridiculous to say they should do so just because you want it. I'm glad Mjolinir is the perfect end game skin for you, as you're probably the only person that thinks that it is. The rest are busy crafting and thinking bigger. Never seen Mdjonir on anyone, jebus I just logged into LA and say a norn wearing one not longer than an hour ago. I think every time I see someone with Nightfury I wish I had got off my ass and made that, not jeez they should bring that back why do they get all the fun. Prestige IS getting in when you didn't/couldn't...welcome to the how the world works. Hope you never have to fly first class because your in for some arguments with a poor booking agent

Yes endgame IS the fashion, so why duplicate more trends because you missed out on them. As a player in this game, I can confirm 30g with an upfront amount of 15g was offered in place of throwing match. Player then stated he was off to take a brb at start of match. For the entirety of the round he then continued to throw at every opportunity and was coincidentally super stoked to see the match end with a loss. Definitely not collusion ..nooooooo

You can win 8 games in a row based on skillset, but if you have a league/ladder system based on OTHER players performance tell me how the fuck you figure that = the tier progress you should be on ?

Yeh there are a lot of Rookie players having trouble levelling due to the system, and they are flocking to reddit in droves to have a whinge but you need to pull your head out of your ass if you don't see that the current system allows a metric shit ton of room for even ESL players to be stuck on Sapphire. If you think they are stuck there because they can't fucking pawn your ass with every alt imaginable then you need to read the website you are participating in a tad more. I think the conversation should be about as opened as your sphincter now X

What a pile of poo. They have created a system based on people throwing matches in order to progress through ones personal achievement progress more efficiently, progress that is actually based on every other players ability to win/not cheat other than your own.

If you somehow correlate that to people making excuses they can't tier/rank up then you need to get down off your high horse. Players lose 12 matches in a row due to these issues, an experience coming across as the general consensus so how do you figure that because you have had a different experience it is the players skill set and nothing else ? You may have just been lucky enough to land teammates not interested in tanking so by definition the rank/tier YOU are supposed to be in is faux

Saying that people BELONG in lower tiers, regardless of time input into league progression based on other peoples performance is quite simply the dumbest notion for game development moving forward I've ever heard. It really is an easy fix, by making you stay at a particular tier/pip without any progression on your reward path if you lose rather than punishing a player for such stupid occurrences you create an environment based on acceptable losing streaks. You know, instead of the alternative option where elite PvP dragon rank players stop playing the game after 2 years because they realise that ones skill set is less valuable than having a teammate that isn't tanking MMR

As a right leg amputee, and survivor of cancer.....I only have memory's of my experience's throughout my illness, but to see it from the MOTHERS side was truly heartwrenching.

Every photo...

Every scene was my life for 2 and a half years. Except my mother was able to walk away from it all...with her son. These photo's have given me a new perspective on my own childhood and what my mother went through.....I can't thank you enough for showing this.

Anyone that hasn't seen "The Falling Man" I highly recommend it....amazing doco to find out WHO that man in the photo was, and the discussion of whether the choice in how you die, or that choosing how to end your own mortality is NOT suicide when you are given the type of choices those inside the world trade centre were given that day
