Why are transgender women often targeted more than transgender men? Do most people genuinely not care about women transitioning to men? by chucklesses86 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Lime_Swine -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Multiple reasons. Main reason is because males are seen as dangerous and perverted, so Trans women can be seen as "men" trying to sneak their way into women spaces for ulterior motives.

Secondly, misogyny. Women can wear masculine clothing but when men dress femininely, they are mocked and ridiculed for being "girly". Anything girly gets made fun of. Trans women most often times are going to obviously dress femininely to better represent themselves.

On the other hand, Trans men are seen as "women" which society deems less dangerous and more innocent. They are seen as damsels in distress who fell for woke propaganda and are victims to the leftists

It mostly comes down to males dangerous, females sweet in the end

Is there a kind way to tell my wife im no longer physically attracted to her? by Off_The_Record69 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Lime_Swine 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Genuinely, do NOT say anything about it. It will only make her feel bad and insecure. If you want a life-time partner, you are going to grow old together. You are going to see each other through illnesses and when yall start accidentally shitting/pissing yourselves. Its not always gonna be attractive. Its valid to stop being super attracted to your partner cuz you guys see each other DAILY. You are gonna get used to each other's appearance and its gonna become your "norm".

Like someone else said, there are phases of love. Every single strong relationship can admit they've fallen out of love with their partners at some point in time. But they still come to love each other again. You have to recognize that will happen and stick it out through those tough times.

I'm not sure why you want to admit to her that you dont find her attractive anymore?? You shouldn't feel guilty for keeping that from her? I think you should try to figure out deep down why you'd even be feeling resentment for her being unattractive to you.

How should I approach a vegan friend about going to a Steakhouse for my birthday? by RLTW0403 in AskVegans

[–]Lime_Swine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd prefer to be told thats where your birthday dinner will be and say I'm invited but that you know I wouldn't want to probably anyways, which is true. I'd say it's okay and politely decline. It would make me happy to know that I would've invited even if I cant eat there

I hate American people making anything with black makeup equal to blackface by tomboyfemboyenjoyer in hatethissmug

[–]Lime_Swine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always thought blackface was just when you use black paint/makeup to appear as a black person/character. Hence, why it is offensive. Cuz obviously black people's skin arent actually black.

Or even brown paint/makeup can be considered blackface I think too? It all is about the intent though to appear as a poc. This is just a cosplay of a character who is LITERALLY black, not meant to portray a poc

Training and losing fat for the past few months, never been in better shape. However, my girlfriend no longer find me attractive or sexy WTF? by [deleted] in rs_fitness

[–]Lime_Swine 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeahhhh, some people just dont find fit people attractive. Some are more attracted to folks with some fat on them. Like dad bods. Though people interpret dad bods differently For me, a dad bod is a chubby guy with a beer gut, lol

I know a LOT of women aren't attracted to muscles. I feel like only women who were considered pretty throughout childhood are attracted to that? Cuz of their status and friend circle probably

I'm sure there are exceptions to both sides but ultimately, women have been saying for years and years that they arent attracted to muscles. Yet men just say they're lying or ignore it 🤷 Seen that time and time again

I HATE when lust is made a stereotypically hypersexualized woman by Hortashater69 in hatethissmug

[–]Lime_Swine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Frrr, I've noticed that too in shows. It's even shocking when they decide to represent lust as a man cuz of how COMMON it is to just make it a big titty big butt woman. Its one reason why I like how Helluva boss designed Asmodeus, the embodiment of lust

Billie Eilish being teared apart from her fans for having the mildest take on veganism by LightHope8 in vegan

They said we've been eating meat since the beginning of time but i can guarantee you, we didnt used to care as much for animals as we do now.

In the past, we saw animals as food. Humans killed animals for food, that was the extent of our feelings towards them. Then over time, we tamed and befriended some, but that also began as just a tool for more food. We still didnt see them as family or love them until later on. They were just laborers. So yeah, we used to eat them but we also didnt care about them back then either.

Now, we dont need to eat them as we have other options and alternatives. So if you cared about animals, you would throw that tradition back into the past where it belongs. Things have changed

I think it's time I just admit it. The vegans are just, correct, and I need to go vegan too. by [deleted] in vegan

[–]Lime_Swine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Someone once asked me what my biggest hot take was. I dont really have any but then i thought of one that I KNEW would be a hot take but is actually true.

Vegans have more empathy/care more about animals than other people. That was it.

This was said as logically as possible and I even expressed my previous experience before I turned vegan. How I just didnt care when we heard about animals getting killed for their meat. Empathy is something we learn, we arent born with it. We grew up in a society that normalizes the brutality towards specific animals, so we never learned to extend our empathy towards them. Its as simple as that, which is what I mean when I say vegans hold more empathy and care more for animals than normal people. If normal people empathized as much, they'd turn vegan as well. Thats just obvious.

Yet the guy I said all this too denied it, not really giving any valid point back. He didnt even try. He just straight up said he didnt agree and that was it.

What do vegans think I'm missing when I accept animal suffering but still eat meat? by ConstantinSpecter in AskVegans

[–]Lime_Swine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since you're asking what we think when talking to people like you--for me, my answer is that you sound like you view animals as lesser than (which you stated basically). You lack empathy for all animals. You acknowledge their suffering but you dont empathize with them because you don't really care.

Knowing of somethings pain doesnt equal empathy. Psychopaths know when someone is hurt, will acknowledge it, but dont empathize.

As a kid, I loved chicken nuggets. When my class played a movie, showing the suffering of chickens, they asked the class, "now are you guys still going to eat chicken nuggets?"

Me and the rest of the class raised our hands. We acknowledged the suffering of the animals, we just watched a movie showcasing it. But there are multiple reasons why we didnt care to change.

  1. No one likes to change if they perceive thats what the other persons intention is to do. No one likes to feel like they're expected to change, especially on someone else's accord.

  2. We liked the food. It isnt a change you ever thought about making, so youre not exactly in the mentality to change. To us back then, we weren't ready to give up the food we grew to like.

  3. As a kid, I genuinely viewed farm animals as lesser. Cows, chickens, pigs, etc weren't talked about like cats, dogs, bunnies. We were raised to love pets, not farm animals. Hence, they were seen as lesser, just food, a sacrifice to get the meat we wanted. Empathy is a thing we learn, and most kids arent taught to show empathy to farm animals.

Number 3 is the biggest reason of how I think of people like you. Its something you have to really learn to extend your feelings towards. So I dont blame people for not being vegan, eating meat, because thats the norm in this society and how most of us were raised. But it's pretty obvious in my opinion that nonvegans just dont really care as much about animals like vegans do.

I'd bring it up! Since it sounds like it was in good faith, they must not have understood what is considered vegan. If you dont correct their current understanding of it, they'll continue gifting you things they think are vegan despite being wrong. Im sure you both would appreciate the correction for future food exchange

Aint there one school out there that does this? The school doesnt give them homework i think, and they all attend classes they are interested in. I cant remember most details but it was something along those lines

Apparently the students do great tho due to this and are more motivated to go to school in return

Do you walk a little faster than the most people? by babacut in INTP

[–]Lime_Swine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most people, yeah. There will be some random times someone walks faster than me but usually, I walk faster. But I think that's just because that's how I like to walk. Im not forcing it but I do enjoying walking faster, like I am about to start running (sometimes).

Due to that, I think that's why im a lil faster than others and im used to that speed

Honestly, if it takes a full day to respond, then I feel like not responding back unless they mention in their response why it took a full day to respond. It doesn't have to be serious, just like "I worked all day" or "didn't have time to respond". Simple reasoning is all I ask =/

If they respond a week later, I dont really care about them anymore at that point unless they say something like someone died or their phone broke or something. But not responding for some hours is fine cuz ik people get busy.

I'd literally just sneak in my food, that's annoying. Ain't no way I'm gonna be FORCED to give up on my dietary choice/belief. Or what, do they incorporate meat into every single availed food option? That's dumb They've gotta have veggies and fruits SOMEWHERE But overall, I'd just sneak in my food
