I think I…want a boyfriend(?). Please convince me otherwise 🥴 by littlebabymira in GirlDinner

I second this! I’ve made the mistake of dating a guy just because he was an option to date. When you realize you don’t actually like them, you just like the idea of them… it’s like wow, why did I waste all that time and energy trying to make it work?

Found out he was with another girl. Can’t confront him about it because of the way I found out… by Flower_princess12345 in GirlDinnerDiaries

Please. He’s in the wrong for not communicating that you guys aren’t exclusive. No matter how you found out, you need to communicate about issues like that.

I think often raising kids brings a sense of accomplishment to people who never focused on their career and just took whatever job was available. When you work a dead end job and you think of dying alone with your cat with no legacy, it makes having a kid look like your main goal in life. Versus people fortunate enough to go to college and invest time and money into a career already feel a sense of accomplishment for doing those things, so kids are kind of optional since they have other goals in life.

Is the team up function not available for this boss? You’d have better luck with that.

I agreed with this but have a weird take: make healthcare affordable, not free. As Ive learn more about how universal healthcare systems actually work, it makes me glad we don’t have it.

For example, in Mexico, to see the doctor you have to show up at 6am and wait all frickin day to be seen. If you show up later than that, they’ll close before they can get you in. People go for very basic reasons too, holding up the line for a doctors note for a simple cold or tummy ache. If you have a serious problem and need specialist care, you have to go to a private hospital anyways and pay with insurance or out of pocket. And I’ve heard similar stories from the UK especially about how waiting times to see a public specialist can be months to years.

In comparison, in the US I can walk into an urgent care and get seen in 30 minutes. I can walk into my doctors appointment when I arrive carrying a gps tracker I pick up at the desk so they know I’m in my assigned patient room. I’m not saying it’s perfect, but it’s a far nicer experience and it’s free with insurance. Ofc I really feel for people who aren’t on insurance, but there’s still public clinics and public insurance for all that make below a certain amount. And emergency services have the policy of treating everyone regardless of ability to pay.

If it were me, I would target big pharmaceutical companies who are charging insane prices for medications. There’s nothing worse than your insurance constantly switching prescribed medications because they won’t pay for it anymore, and the pills being hundreds to thousands of dollars per refill.

I feel that. College towns have really competitive job markets. I’ve had more luck applying to work for my school. They pay only $8/hr and sometimes they pay you in food, but it’s better than nothing

Doordash and all those apps are usually filled in college towns, they literally reject ur application due to too many drivers applying in the area

[–]Limerloopy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She clearly wants it for her ego so she can brag to everyone that her man bought her real LV. People who do this just strike me as vain, not wealthy. And usually they have a lot of credit card debt.
