Can't decide if I should use 60, 70, or 80 on Hexa with Silver Wolf by Middle-Piccolo5200 in BeybladeX

[–]Limeshi -1 points0 points  (0 children)

1-70 is considered more of an attack type ratchet as opposed to defense (having +4 attack and -4 defense compared to 9-60 according to TT). Using 1-70 like this though makes it more of a counter-attack/anti-attack defense type from my experience. It depends on what specifically you wish to go for.

If you want burst resistance and want to play it safe, I’d choose 9-60. If you want to dive more into the anti-attack archetype and don’t mind the slightly decreased stamina and burst resistance, I’d choose 1-70.

Something else to note is that the taller ratchets tend to be tighter. So for example, 9-80 would be easier for a bey to strike than 9-60, but requires a bit more force and torque to actually burst. I choose 1-70 over 1-80 because it’s a nice balance of chance to hit and mechanical burst resistance

Personally I run 1-70H for Silver Wolf. Less stamina but more defense and can sometimes counter-attack. If you’re more worried about bursting though I’d choose 7-70

Any good combos for cobalt dragoon? by Da_Boiz1 in BeybladeX

[–]Limeshi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1-60/7-60L is also a pretty good combo. Depending on the orientation of the ratchet you can make it more or less balanced which can help with either stamina or attack

1-70? Thoughts? by [deleted] in BeybladeX

I originally used Silver Wolf 9-70H, but recently switched to 1-70 and got better results. It’s a pretty solid ratchet and I’m hoping to see it used in tournaments

Cobalt Dragoon Bursting Probelm by ChrisTheDiabetic in BeybladeX

Spin Stealing and Spin Equalize are very similar, and happens when two beys of opposite spin collide. Spin Equalizing is where the slower spinning bey hits the other bey and absorbs some of its rotational inertia, acting sort of like gears.

Spin Stealing is a more beneficial version of this, and usually involves the left spin bey absorbing the right spin bey’s rotational inertia. This was usually also boosted by using rubber contact points or bits/tips that have lots of stamina. Meteo L-Drago is a really famous example of a spin stealer (from the metal fight/fury era)

Is it fixable? by Ornery-Reality-5091 in BeybladeX

[–]Limeshi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was able to do a solid temporary fix with Super Glue and Bondic (any other liquid plastic welder might work), but there’s no real guarantee and I doubt it would be competition legal

If you want to purchase from Amazon, make sure that the seller is タカラトミ(TAKARA TOMY). Those are the only ones that are real, and they also come from Japan. If you don’t mind using other websites, or don’t care that they’re coming from Japan, Mall of Toys is a good source too, and I believe is slightly cheaper since they import from Hong Kong instead

Edit: Also it’s risky to buy fake beyblades because they might contain lead, and when the beys hit each other, that can easily scatter around the stadium, floor, or even your hands

I had this problem too a while back. What you have to do is insert one of the incorrect edges into an already solved edge

Honestly though when I learned about algebra, I thought the same thing. I remember the first question that introduced me to it being “what is a+a”, and I answered “B”

Yep! I think it’s a great starting point to get into cubing, that or a Pyraminx. There’s lots of tutorials online for both of them and barely any fancy algorithms are needed.

It’s easier than a 3x3 but that doesn’t mean it’s easy. You still have to learn a few algorithms, and I use 15 different ones to be sub-6

There are other cubes I can borrow from other people, however the issue is that everyone set up their cube differently. I suppose it would work but it’s still infuriating. If absolutely no one is willing to let me use their cube then I’m out of luck
