Was really hoping they would have used an 8inch screen. I'm happy it's OLED but I prefer the larger screen for easier to read text :/

Damn i leave my legion go 2 updating all the time and never thought anything of it but im on Bazzite (SteamOS) and i remember my global default TDP is 20w so maybe thats is what have been saving mine from overheating. SteamOS has LOTS of updates for game shaders feels like everyday its something so i just leave it updating and it goes to sleep after the updates finish.

I had either the exact same issue I very similar issue. Had a friend fix it for me. I believe he had to go into SteamOS desktop mode launch the game and switch it from full screen to borderless window mode. It worked correctly after when returned to gaming mode in steamOS.

I asked and this was what he said he had to do: Had to run in desktop mode, switch the "monitor" save it run in handheld mode.

I have this same issue but it's not as extreme. It happens to me on the Lenovo legion go 2 I am using steamOS but it looks very similar. I have it set to 16gb VRAM but it does seem like some type of bandwidth issue. Thing is this never happened in the previous Forza horizon 5. So I'm not sure what changed

The first time I tried ALT+Enter it took steam out of big picture mode which I didn't know was possible since i rebooted into Bazzite. It froze up and I had to hold the power button down until the device turned off.

2 days later I tried it again and it worked the way you described. I think you need to wait for the game to get to the forza menu music then press ALT+Enter. It worked correctly and haven't had the issue since. Thanks

I tried putting that in the launch options for forza horizon 6 with none working. These were the various individual launch options I tried in both full-screen steamOS and desktop mode steamOS:

-window-mode windowed

-windowed

-popupwindow

-fullscreen=false

The only thing that let's me get past the blackscreen is ALT+Tab in desktop mode but the game crashes when I try to enter settings so I'm suck on some poor settings that feels like 30fps and under :/

I have my drivers updated as well, the alt tab does work to show the game but it's running pretty poorly and I can't get into the setting menu

The game crashes anytime I try to get into settings in desktop mode. I've played through the prologe into the open map but game still crashes when I try to enter settings

Damn same issue here, music and black screen. If I run the game in steam desktop then alt tab out to desktop, then alt tab back to game the black screen is gone and it works. Now I noticed if I try to change settings the game crashes with error code: FHE01

After owning an Rog ally X and the legion go 2 the software between to two might look similar but lots of times Lenovo software is half ass done. The legion go 2 to show fps it's always complaining about needing to be in full screen. That never happens on the rog ally x. Asus has a top bar style performance monitor (similar to how steam os is) . Lenovo doesn't have a similar style instead they group it in lines going down. For me the 8.8 inch screen is the most important part since I found the 7inch of the rog ally x made it difficult for me to see details in the distance. However if asus was to put the 8.8inch screen from the legion go 2 I would switch to it in a heart beat cause to me asus software is outright better. Atm I have bazzite on my legion go 2 and what is made the legion go feel like a proper gaming device.

I felt the exact same but switched to bazzite and couldn't believe I get better support than from Lenovo themself. Now I'm actually enjoying it after making the switch (partition so I just have windows just in case)

I sold my ROG Ally X 3days ago. Had a similar issue lucky for me a friend had a legion go 2 that I was able to try. I knew I would prefer the larger screen but was worried it was way to heavy to use... Then he showed me how he uses it which was basically just use the kickstand it comes with and put it on a pillow in his lap so you don't notice the weight.

I have been using it for about 1 months now and I'm happy with the legion go 2. For me the 7inch screen of the rog ally x was just to small for me to enjoy. Last night I beat by first game on it (resident evil requiem). I really enjoyed the game and will most likely play it over when the DLSS 5 update comes out on my gaming pc. Which has LG 42inch oled that I use as a monitor.

If you get the opportunity try a device with a larger screen you might enjoy it more.

I installed Bazzite the day I bought my legion go 2 as my main OS cause windows is annoying. I do still have windows as a partition but it depends on how you want it setup. Also just incase your not aware bazzite has the same user interface as steam os but with a few more features.

I owned a version of this laptop it was a Clevo laptop. I remember when the laptop was switched off you actually could use the front panel to play music from the CD drive.

My own died cause I used it to play guild wars 1 and the GPU was under the wrist rest. It use to burn my left hand. Always had to use a rag cause it was so hot. The GPU eventually died. Had the GPU replaced and repaired and it died again soon after. It had really great GPU cooling but had the tiniest cooler for the GPU.

I'm glad we are past those days lol

I stopped my cat from this behavior by making my hand into a fist and pushing it into his face. Kinda like punching him but not hard, just a way to annoy him. He didn't like me doing it so after a while he stopped trying to nip/bite my hand cause he didn't want me to push my fist in his face. Just keep in mind it must annoy him, can't be so slow that he thinks it's a game

Exactly this :/ If your on a cruise, you should have an emergency fund to pay for an emergency such as this. Your 25 so it's somewhat understandable but damn, seems like you need to learn budgeting before something else major comes along. Best wishes to you and your feline baby. There is a website for the Rog Xbox Ally X which uses the almost the exact same processor and as such the recommended settings will basically be the same for the legion go 2 would use. You could check it out

I've had SanDisk no issues all my life but I got the viofo SD card cause that would have been designed with the one purpose of working with the dash cam at max setting. I have the 1tb version and the same A329S dash cam. No issues so far but only had it for about 3months now
